I think this is a good point. As someone who lives by "question everything", yet still gets cranky when I know I'm right but someone won't take my word for it, it is good for me to try to remember that, as irritating and inefficient it seems for them to be doing so, they're just doing what I would do.

*nods head* Introverted cognitive functions can be a bitch because of the subjective nature.

Not only that, but having faith that they know what you're talking about without explaining very much. Ni gets cranky because it's already at F when the person talking is still at C, but the person at C doesn't want to assume you're even at D or E yet, or even G or H. They can't know where you're at unless you indicate and they can pick it up, so most people play it safe and assume you're still at C with them.

An 18 minute-old facebook quote from an INTP written on my wall:

"You're not as funny or insulting as you think you are."

    My response:

"I'm actually really glad you think that, since I actually don't, in fact, try to be. It's more irreverent honesty of opinion than anything"

Funny, but faceplant in hands nonetheless.
Donkey D Kong thanked this post.

The demotivational with the picture of the Virgin Mary and quote: "Abstinence, 99.99999% effective" (with 100 crossed out). I'd post the pic, but I'm new here.
