    Ni - Fi Loop

Describe the Ni Fi Loop and what it means to you.

    What was your experience like?

What are the physical tolls it has had on your body?

Here is some music to get you into the mood...

I don't know exactly what the Ni-Fi loop is but I somehow sense that I've gone through (and suffered from) it. Would you have any sources/references regarding the Ni-Fi loop?

Weren't there more post in this thread? I think the forum lost a whole bunch of posts yesterday.

I don't see myself using an Ni Fi loop much. It's more Ni Te. Fi is more like a last step, that says if the conclusion is right or wrong (from a moral / ethical point of view.)

If Fi says it's wrong,.... end of the line. There's no going back, except perhaps in cases where I wonder how to say something right. Even though in most cases that's still more motivated by achieving the end result I'm after, so still an Ni Te thing.

I believe you would only experience the Ni Fi loop in times of stress @Peter (although I suppose also in new love). It isn't a healthy state to work in for a long period of time. Not to mention your decision making would most likely be poor.

Great, that makes sense. I was wondering why this question was made. Now it makes sense.

Garbage drains my soul like a vacuum. Can't really listen to them.

OP Question aside, is it even possible to experience Ni-Fi loop at an early age?

Ni-Fi loop examples can be seen on the INFP forum under their Fi-Si loop threads. ;)

    Ni perceives information.
    Fi checks information for validity
Ni finds a way to validate information
Fi then says "This is correct."
Ni begins to gather more information on why this is correct thus begins the loop.

The important piece is that there is no external validation via Te, so the process becomes self-validating based on internal perceptions. Therefore, you get the examples of INTJs as the conspiracy theorists...
