    A new guy

    Hi, names Simon,

I'm 100% INTJ and i think its facinating, i done the test 3 times and i got the same thing,

I'm currently studying computer games programming in Ireland but il be moving to England to do another degree in AI when im finished that one.

The personality discription was very accurate for me, im sure there was people that it didnt describe but it sure discribed me alright.

I have had social problems as stated.., i had a girlfriend for 3 years, she let me down, she kept on saying that i always have to be right.

This was a blow for me after 3 years, its also changed my perspective on women in the west, im currently learning Russian, i found the Russian values to be more traditional, im hoping to visit there soon and i think il fit in well over there.

Apparantly 60% of Russians have degrees, education is free over there.

I feel a brotherhood with other INTJ's because we should be alike, i shouldent have to talk stupid crap to get their attention.. its like a relief talking to an INTJ.

I know an INTJ and through the years hes been a good friend,

well, thats a partial introduction anyway.., ;P

    Ireland? INTJ?

Fantastic. I'm from Cork myself, also INTJ. Where are you studying?

I'm from the north, im in a small town called Strabane,

:P second most bombed place during the troubles

Dont worry though, ive long bypassed the Irish question so you wont get any political dribble from me

I go to the NWRC in Derry, I'm doing a HNC there, looking to go to Sheffield next year as i said

Whats the chances of an Irishman being on the forum..?

Bloody high, the Irish stereotype is the opposite of the INTJ

    :p nice to meet you

Opposite end of the country.. Pleased to have another Irishman here, and doubly so for an Irish INTJ,
ESFPs are lacing the country these days.

In typical INTJ fashion i quickly seen that this test is great to get to know someone quickly,

I have the results of 14 people stored in a text document

They think im just being nice, im just making a judgement whether i should continue talking to them

    lol

I have a lot of friends but ive had to bend a bit and learn to act here, if i didn't i wouldn't have any friends at all

nonetheless i have only met one INTJ out of about 100..

It is good to meet someone Irish here indeed

I love Ireland and i always will

However, I'm quite tired of this place, if you noticed through history, Ireland is very stubborn and "resilient" its great to be part of as a national identity, not so great of you have a brain and like creation..

What do you get up to down in Cork [:

    I got out.
I'm a Psychologist over in Scotland now..

    Intelligence and creativity not promoted?
Mass populous principles apply to that, but to be fair, but as a nation we have a wonderfully creative history, and many intellectuals.
I just find the emotivism of the identity to be irritating.

Hadn't met an INTJ down here that I am aware of through fully validated testing. However, there are a few INTPs, ISTJs and ENTJs around where I was. Cork - Ireland's freakshow.

Good stuff, im still here and this final year is dragging. Things are different in the north for a start, my family has a colorful history in regards to the troubles. I think in any environment where you have extreme beliefs its easy to get frustrated with a lack of open mindedness. Thats a personal perspective i guess and thats why i wana leave.

Your right that many intelligent and creative people have come from here!

I was referring to the country's lack of embrace to change, seriously.., im involved with the I.T industry heavily and anyone over the age of 25.., dislikes technology to say the least

For example, your in Scotland at the moment now right. Dundee has 1 billion pounds worth of games industry because a man got funded for a games course before the irishmen would take a chance on funding one for Derry.

What about that Obama, did you follow the election?

Studied inn Dundee.. Heard about that programme for Electonics and Software.

Followed the election alright, and danced a little dance when Obama was elected. Not for the sake of an inspirational change in global opinions of america following the catastrophic middle-eastern involvement, but rather that my mates were all skeptical and thought McCain would get it. I assured that Obama would get it and made it clear that I would expect a "you were right!" or two.
