What exactly makes INTJ women so rare?
How many female serial killers have you ever heard of?![]()
Why? U wanna meet them?
I met a lot of INTJ woman in INTJ Forum
Well, it's probably because most girls are *girly*. You know, they are generally emotional; they find things cute; they do *girl stuff*; think about networking / socializing...etc.What exactly makes INTJ women so rare?
While we INTJ females are more of the *boyish girls*. That whole logic thing; thinking; science; technic; computers; emancipation / independence...that'd be my guess so far.
Maybe somebody has a better theory, though.
INTJ female wearing a feminine sport shoes, while ESTJ female wearing a high-heels black boots.
That's all I know, haha... sorry for being unhelpful... :D

I think the tendency for females to prefer F is only part of the story. I think that INTJ females are rare for the same reason that INFJ males are rare. Both have dominant Ni (at least, in MBTI theory). Dominant Ni is a highly uncommon cognitive process, and even as a secondary process, I suspect it is still unusual. This implies that any NJ is a relatively rare type. From there, the correlation between sex and T/F preference and the scarcity of INs are the factors that make the INTJ preference unlikely among women.
Also, just to be certain we're looking at the same source, where are you getting the information on prevalence of type?

The one female INTJ that I know in real life isn't all that "boyish." I mean, she's very logical and all, but I wouldn't pick her out of a crowd of girls and say she wasn't as girly as the rest.
