Text conversation. I do love to tease.
Them: Cn u c f mai chrgr iz n th livng rm? Plz I lft it der ystrdai
Me: I think you wish me to look for your phone charger in the living room? I will have a look, but if that's not what you are asking me, do let me know what it is exactly you ARE asking me.
Them: f its nt der den it mite b n th drssr bi th lmp??
Me: I have looked in the living room high and low and in the corners and on top of things and under things, I even moved things about and looked behind other things that I thought might possibly conseal the charger you charged me to look for. However my luck in finding it is rather like your forgetting it in the first place. Rather unfortunate.
Them: by s it n t drsr?
Me: ahh I see now you are making another request of me, the suggestion apparently is that I should spend some time looking at and in the general area of a dresser. Am I right? It is rather difficult to tell to be perfectly honest. I remember when I was little I used to be fascinated by codes however that's long ago now that my ability to decode seemingly random letter has quite diminished. I hearby do formerly request at least the semblance of clarity.
Them: ???
Them: di u chk de drsr?
Me: ahh consulting my little tykes big book of code breaking I sense somehow I should cast my optic receptors in the direction of your bedroom for the charger, which I must say I had quite forgotten. I was playing around with google translate and having lots of fun, you really should try it some time. Perhaps it would ease our conversation to some degree.
Them:??
Me:you will be pleased to know that all is well, I am back reading little tykes big book of code breaking, sadly it isn't a first edition, I'm quite sure you know the first edition would be worth a few coins by now. Then again maybe not. So yes, I have in my hand the charger so you haven't lost it, it will be here awaking your return. I shall accept any kind of thanks you wish to offer, might I suggest some type of confectionary. Yours anticipating a joyous return ...
Them: ur wrd!
Younger siblings, gotta love em.
