What Do You Do to Get Out of Your Comfort Zone?

Why do you like to get out of your comfort zone every now and then? And what do you do to get out of your comfort zone?

I find the nearest bunch of extroverts (preferably ENFPs), and act like them. I know of no faster way to get out of my comfort zone while still having a fun time. An hour with them is like streamlining a powerful drug. (Which is probably largely why I bother going out of my comfort zone). At the same time, a little bit of exposure goes a long way. Afterwards I need to retreat to the quiet of my comfort zone where I can again introvert.

I like to test my limits a lot. I want to see and define what my boundaries are and if it is possible to break through them. I believe this what helps me grow into a strong individual.

I 'enjoy' extended water fasting (14 days on water alone so far), sleep deprivation, and socializing with extroverts.

I also used to engage in survival training and boot camps- contingency planning.

There's a period of preparation in which I let myself be alone. After I'm done with whatever activity I'd chosen to do I reward myself with a nice quiet read and potentially a beer if it was strenuous.

I like to get out of my comfort zone because nothing will be achieved from staying there rotting.

It gives me an immense feeling of satisfaction every time I leave it. And it makes it easier the next time.

    Well...

How else would I know the boundaries of my comfort zone if I don't cross that line once in a while? Sometimes it can be interesting to see how the line has changed over time. Generally, I get myself to do things I wouldn't usually do and see what happens.

I Like to get out of my comfort zone because It helps me learn new things, and I am always looking to learn new things.

The how is simple for me, my sister is a ENFP, and my two best friends are ESFP and ENTJ, so I just hand over control to one of them for the day and see what happens... its always interesting

I go dancing and on trips and stuff

for no reason, because it's fun

I know you are INTJs, but you must have heard of fun, at least from ENFPs

My job often takes me way out of my comfort zone, including being sent to various offices over the world and eating thousand year eggs in ratty eating stalls in Hong Kong backalleys. The comfort zone was not even in sight.

Otherwise, dating is good fun, but I usually am in committed relationships.

I don't feel a strong need to get out of my confort zone. I can thrive nearly anywhere. Only nightclubs, I can't stand those. Then again, I don't have to live there

I throw myself out of my comfort zone when I realize that I haven't grown in awhile. When I can't remember the last time a researched a new topic or talked to someone new, then I know that it's time.

Professionally, I challenge myself by setting goals for making new business contacts. For example, at the last conference I attended, I wanted to see if I could get three different men to buy me a drink.

Personally, I challenge myself by writing off-beat fiction. I haven't done that lately.... It may be time.
