Ha! It gets even better ;) My apologies as well, I swear I wasn't being rude.

You got the update on the date, then.

hopefully state trooper lady appreciated the in-person flirting....
I'm sure I'll accept sooner or later. My very nature can't allow me to not enjoy having beautiful women requesting to be my friend.

Yes, Trooper Lady did enjoy it. She cleans up very nice, meaning she's really hot. She's also very nice and, for some reason, liked watching me not know how to react to certain things. I used the "comfortable moment of silence" trick. It helps guys like me.

Please elucidate on this comfortable silence trick, I'm fascinated by masculine wiles. :P

Glad the date was a success. And that she's hot!

Oh... :( seeing you falling apart over this might just kill me. ;) haha

This comfortable silence trick is good for you too, if you know how to use it. First dates are invariably riddled with awkward moments of silence. If you're like me, you feel obligated to fill these, yet you haven't a clue how. The trick goes like this:

    1) You wait for a moment of silence and for her to not be looking at you.
    2) You look at her and wait for her to look back at you
    3) When she does, you look away as if you were staring but didn't want to get caught (it's essential here to make it obvious so she knows you're playing around)
    4) Let her see your smile grow as you look around like you weren't doing anything.
    5) Sit back and watch as she smiles at your blatant playfulness.

Whola, you've changed an awkward moment of silence into a flirty comfortable moment of silence that you can use to your advantage.

FASCINATING. will give it a whirl but I'll have to practice. A lot. Eye contact makes me nervous on dates!

One more thing, after every use you have to stop and say "This comfortable moment brought to you by SL4289: We post because we care." It's a copyright thing.

Well... beware my wrath and all that crap.

Women love watching me act all weird and awkward. We think it means they like us or soemthing.

I hate Ford with the fire of a thousand suns. Shortly after I bought my Explorer 3 years ago, the gear shifter broke off in my hand. Of course, the entire steering column needed to be replaced, and that part wasn't under warranty. Bastards. It is a very common, known issue, but Ford won't cover the costs or do a recall because they don't consider it a safety issue. *rolls eyes*

Now my driver's side window won't open. @#$%

A tornado hit Kenosha county and then swung north to Racine... I spent the afternoon 40 min. beyond the end of the school day bathing in the sensation of my student's fears, and felt my own triple when I learned that the tornado was headed towards the part of Racine my son's daycare is in. God that was frightening. Everything is okay, though!
