I've been working at it for two years now - it's not what I really want to be doing, obviously, but I'm really poor and things are just moving really slowly for me. I want to move to Seattle, but saving up will take me most of this year, since I also want to buy a car before I move. I don't like it here in Las Vegas, the weather is awful (it's not even the heat, I just hate the constant gushing windstorms we get every other week). I just want to break out of my life and it's my fault for being lazy and not just finding things to do that let me be creative.

I let my music go too, which I'm starting to realize was a bad idea. I need to dust off my synths and start working on something, even if it's just for a hobby now.

I don't know, I think that's all PerC has become to me too - like a way of just venting my pent up desire for self-expression. It definitely helps to take the edge off, since I really don't have any friends to hang out with here, or the confidence to just go out and hang out at clubs or go bar-hopping alone. Maybe in the future, I might try that. Once I work up the ego for it.
Firstly, you are using PerC precisely for what it was made for, to discover yourself.

The rest is cause and effect. Since your personality is more likely to react over time rather than just blow up every two minutes. I'm talking about the enneagram here. 9s are as lazy as fuck getting out of a rut only stopping every now and again to sniff reality and think ewww, smells like shit. Catharsis after a long time of thinking about the matter at hand in this manner might be pretty normal too. None of this is mental illness but rather the way in which you process, adapt, and subvert your own aggression.

There are only so many times you can come up for that sniff of that shitty smell...

....one hopes anyway. You will do OK.

Heh, you're thanking me for saying it smells like shit gives me the guffaws.

PS. I still think you're INTJ but for whatever reason you do this topsy turvy thing where you analyse until you seem to turn into a Ti beast. I highly doubt it's bipolar. More likely just the result of what I was talking about before.....and the tail chasing that comes with it.

You could still be correct, but I strongly resonate with the belief that I'm simply an ambivert, and I switch back and forth between my main and my shadow functions so much that it's hard to tell the difference. If there's a preference, it could be for INTJ, or ENTP - I haven't ruled INTJ out - but I find it easier to just accept ambiversion and move on to Enneagram so that I don't have to keep doing this with MBTI:
