    him: pretty adorable.
    me: *blip**blip**blip* really?
    him: well, for reptiles.

i don't think intps parse 'adorable' in quite the same way i do.
He's actually very personable. He doesn't like my wife very much, but he's warming to her. He gets very jittery when she holds him. But my daughter and I can wear him like a corsage. He even licks our hands when we go to pet him Here's a pic of my mom with him on her shirt.

ETA: which apparently posted sideways for some reason...

Tommy. I had to say goodbye to him just two days ago. He was my protector, and a naughty boy you can't help but love. Sadly missed by his family.

Charles, my girl. She'll be 7 in October. Car window surfer extraordinaire and gourmet foodie.

So sorry about your loss, bethdeth. Losing a beloved pet is really hard.

Thanks. I was crying as I posted. Charles is feeling his loss too, she has tendencies to OCD behaviour when stressed. I'm taking particular care with her at the moment. She went car window surfing and has a big bone to take it out on.

I am fully capable of hoarding and herding domesticated felines. I do not hoard them, but I have once herded my two cats and my neighbors two cats at once. Or maybe I was just making them all run away from me. Or both.

easy enough to believe. my son told me the lizards cuddle, but he admitted they don't offer quite as much scope for the chin-scritching skillz as a cat. and then he said, nice and cold-bloodedly: 'it's just a body heat thing, the snuggling.'

intp. technically rather reptilian but still strangely adorable, in their own right.

This is my bald eagle. His name is Sam.

This is my dragon. His name is Aiko.

And this is Aiko's best 'INTJ face'.

And here I thought I was going to have a heart-attack thinking no one had posted kitties yet...
