Once upon a time, I used to work with all of my friends at the same job, so we got to spend a LOT of time together and we all became pretty close. Recently some of us (including me) quit, but we are still pretty much one big family. I now work with my old manager, so I see her almost every day. I'm friends with her kids and her three grandsons who I see almost as often as her. I board my horse at their barn, so I see them there. Another ex-worker boards her horse there, and I see her about four times a week. Two of my friends still work at that place, but I still get to hang out with them about once or twice a week if I make a point to go out there. I usually go out to lunch with the majority of them three or four times a week.

Ugh, this makes me sound like such a social butterfly.

I'm a bit of a recluse myself, and over the past couple of years I've burned a few bridges here and there. Why? Because to have a friend you have to be a friend. I would never initiate plans to hang out or go places with friends, but instead I'd always let them maintain the relationship and contact me when they wanted to do something.

That said, I spend about 4 hours a week on average with friends.

Wow, this actually makes me sound like a recluse, even for an INTJ. Granted most of my friends don't live within 200 miles of me anymore, and several of them are in the military, but I rarely spend more than 3-4 hours with friends, usually on one of my days off. There are enough ESF's where I work I generally have no desire to leave my apartment unless I have to.

    Does hanging out online count?

    IRL: 2 days a year.
Online: About 12 hours unless I'm working on something interesting.

    Lol, I don't know.

I have to socialise in school for 7 hours, then with my family, people in my community, when I pop up to the shop I've to socialise with people I know (because I'm always in that bloody shop) or people who know my family. On weekends I socialise with my girlfriend (fuck my retarded friends) and meet some of her friends and spend like 6-8 hours with them and her.

So it must be 15+. I'm a teenager, I barely get time alone! Only if I'm home alone after school doing my homework or playing playstation or at night time/morning time when nobody's up I spend on this forum/msn/facebook.

EDIT: You said for leisure and I already voted! Damn. For leisure 0-2 hours. There's nothing leisurely about my friends.

I can handle 3-5 hours every day as long as it's with a small number of people. As soon as these prerequisites aren't broken, I zone out and get restless. In between, I'm perfectly content working long hours or enjoying peaceful solitude
