Yes, dear INTJs, let's gather and reconsider our tactics: I suggest grace is the way of 2010 and beyond.
This small refinement might actually save our asses from 'dying'.

    here are my thoughts...

INTJs are obviously inwardly motivated ppl. most of our engery is focused inward. we're rational, logical, and with that being said, we believe we are right about everything. i.e. we usually are.

I don't believe I am right by virtue of being an INTJ, I have spent a life time observing, gathering information, constructing theories. When I encounter an exception it is noted, categorized, analyzed.

When I am convinced of something it is because my intuition is supported by significant intellectual effort in the present or past.

nobody can ever be right about EVERYTHING

especially since what is "right" is sometimes opinion based

Oh no, not the dreaded topic of subjectivity versus objectivity.

I think as INTJs it is generally best to say as little as neccesary.

Oh God yeah.... I seem to have really hard time controlling myself not to argue though.

.. i said usually. and be aware of the inserted smiley face. i was using humor. also, i agree with with Alex Knight said. yes, we arent born with logic and understanding. it takes years of study, determination, and practice to be competent. and INTJs are the studiers, the scientists, the researchers... so as a result, we do tend to have the smarts.

honestly, my take on it was this. the thread was titled "why are we so convinced of ourselves to the point of fighting?" i just threw in a snappy answer ...just for some humor.. because typically INTJs pride themselves on being right MOST of the time. but then ppl got offensive and turned this into a debate. the end
