Do you INTJs like ENFPs and/or ENTPs?

OK so Personality Page says that our natural partners are ENFPs and ENTPs.
Do you feel an affinity for either of these types?

I love ENTPs for the most part. I have a lot in common with them and they're so much fun. Also there is a likeability and kindness within them because of their Fe. Their empathy often comes out. Sometimes they can act nasty but most of the time they're cool. They like puzzles, toys, knowledge, science, video games, and just fun NT sort of things in general. It's entertaining to listen to them talk.

On the other hand, I find ENFP's just annoying and revolting in every way. They're strange and alien. I have nothing in common with them. I just feel revulsion. ENFP like to insult, torment, and annoy others. ENFP offend me. I think it's pretty ridiculous to call them the inspirers. I've never seen an ENFP do anything remotely inspiring. I get inspired by people who are high achievers and great role models. ENFP are so full of themselves and overconfident for no apparent reason. It's obnoxious. I don't like listening to ENFP's talk. They mainly talk about how amazingly great they think they are.

The sad thing is that ENTP's are greatly outnumbered by ENFP's.

    I like them.

I don't regard either as natural partners. Even if it wasn't Kiersey, I would disagree with it.

That being said I'm romancing an ENTP at the moment. But I don't regard her type as the natural partner to the INTJ type.

I’m sorry to hear about your bad experience with ENFPs. I think you find opinions on INTJ preferences regarding romantic partners will tend to differ across several types.

The INTJ I am with seems to have this magnetic attraction to ENFPs. He seems to love our randomness combined with our abstract and zest, and he loves to mess with us. It’s all kinds of fun. And when we connect, it’s pretty incredible. I think (as well as the Ni/Ne component) it’s the Fi and the Te that we share. I’m good at reading/translating his Fi and he is GREAT at pushing me to use my Te. The exchange of ideas between us is pretty incredible. We just balance each other really well. The admiration and respect I have for him really has no bounds.

As far as his opinion of ENTPs goes, I think he gets along with them well. He knows one ENTP girl and he loves to mess with her too. Unfortunately she is quite wary of him and can only deal with him in small doses, which is a shame because she is a good friend of mine.

Funnily enough both his dad and my dad are ENTPs, so we’ve both grown up around their influence. We both grew up with our dads teaching us things like how to make explosives or building various things in the shed/workshop. He enjoys debating with his dad and some of the conversations they have are pretty intense, but unfortunately he didn’t develop as much as a love for science as I did.

Verbal fistfights with ENTP's can be very entertaining. I have/have had several of them in my life. Like them on a friendship level.. ok friends with benefits maybe if I were single.

Think I only really know one or two ENFP's. I like working with them.

I can't speak of the types as a whole, but I can speak of individuals within those types that I know.

I know two confirmed ENTPs. The first one is my sister, and we tend not to get along very well. She seems to think I'm far too "judgy" and aloof, while I think she's a bit indecisive and far too willing to provoke conflict where none has reason to exist. We both have an unspoken agreement to just not get overly involved with each other since that seems to work best for everyone.

The other I know has been a friend of mine since nearly as long as I can remember, and goddamn if he isn't the best intellectual friend I've ever had. We like to bounce ideas off each other constantly, tear them down, improve them, debate and bicker, occasionally try to blast the other to pieces, and generally have a grand old time.

As for ENFPs, I know two confirmed and one that I highly suspect. The first one, my stepfather who recently married my divorced mother (they were high school sweethearts), is a nice enough guy but I've adopted a policy of keeping my distance. He, my ISFJ mother, and my ENTP sister get along great, but to me he's just a new person who's now living with my family and I should therefore be wary. For the most part we're alright with each other, but there were a few times early on where I cornered and shut him down for being, in my eyes, too prying with my private self. I don't like it when people try to "solve" me without my permission. It feels more invasive than it does anything else. Our relationship now is nice and cool, and we coexist just fine.

The second ENFP I know is a male high school friend and in the two years we were there together, we had the mother of all rivalries. From the day we met to the day we graduated, in literally every possible subject or activity, even if we agreed or were working together, it was a constant duel. I'm of the opinion that I held a better position at the end, though I'm sure he'd claim the same thing. That was fun relationship.

The last suspected ENFP is easily one of the best people I've ever known. She's brilliantly creative, constantly happy and optimistic, energetically passionate, empathetic, and more than willing to help anyone in need. I honestly don't know what she sees in my bitter cynicism . No but she's great and I consider it an honor to be able to call myself one of her friends.

Love the few ENTPs I've run into. My ENFP acquaintances make me die inside. NO LOGIC.

My best friend of nearly a decade is an ENTP. We get along just great, though she does seem to have tons more energy than I do.
ENFPs "sound" interesting, but I'm not quite sure that I've actually spoken to one.

My best friend is an ENFP; I've had several ENFP friends over the years. I get along great with them. Only problem I have is with the "P" traits-- leaving things open-ended, impulsiveness, lack of schedule, etc. Love their humor and warmth.

I've known a few ENTPs, though not well. They seem nice. Smart and funny, certainly.

I like 'em both. Not *all* of the ENTPs or *all* of the ENFPs, naturally, but these are two personality types for which I have an affinity.
