    Weird

Opinion, thoughts, ideas, advice all are appreciated.

After I've finished some exams, I wanted to find a job. The next day, I was in the mood, and went to the mall, and asked for an application filling. While I was filling it, by luck, an admin saw and gave me an interview. After a minute, the owner saw me and, I think interviewed me. My interview was for the next day. I went and did it, and got accepted.
The thing is, I never thought that I was going to be approved in something that I have no experience in O.o So they will pay me a bit less for that. And it's required to sign a contract... Isn't this weird?? I mean people wait weeks to be called by their application filling and have an interview, I got accepted in 2 day, 3 hours in general. Plus I'm an INTJ, am I not supposed to be, I don't know...cold, not enthusiastic...?

If you got hired at the mall with no experience it was because of your appearance. Mall jobs are not hard or arduous to attain.

    Congratulations - that is awesome!
A couple of thoughts popped up in my head when I read your post:
    1) I have discovered that I have a really hard time being happy about my 'victories', even if they may be huge goals that I have worked hard towards reaching. I just naturally always strive for the next big step, so I tend to never really take time to celebrate my successes (or to stop and smell the flowers). I am trying to be better about that, so if I was in your situation, I would enjoy the feeling of enthusiasm and happiness! Imagine if the scenario you wrote about was describing something that had happened to a friend of yours. What would you feel for your friend? Allow yourself to be as generous with your positive feelings towards yourself as you would be to your friends.
Remember, sometimes great things just happen! No need to feel guilty or that something is less valuable just because it went smoothly.

    2) Another thing that I have discovered is to trust my gut feeling. If you feel that something is off (other than your own happiness, lol), there is a fair chance that you are right. If you feel that something is "too good to be true", it may be a good idea to think about a situation that sends tingles down your neck a little bit more in depth.
I am guessing that signing a contract is pretty much standard when it comes to jobs, so I wouldn't be too concerned about that. Generally it covers what you and the hiring company agrees upon in regards to pay, working hours, legal rights, number of weeks notice, etc.
Of course, be sure to read that contract carefully, so that you don't sign up for something that you really don't want to do (How long will you get lower pay for? How much time do they estimate you will need to get up into the 'regular' salary bracket?). If you feel pressured into signing the contract quickly without getting a fair chance to look it through, you should probably question why and definitely take your time to make sure that everything looks all right. There is no shame in asking your potential employer to go through the contract with you clause by clause.

    Here, have some cake!

That's pretty much been my experience in job finding as a hospitality worker as I moved up into areas that I hadn't been in before. Enthused? Yay! I'm not going to be so broke and feel a little more useful in the world, were my feelings.

    Well done!

I realize this was for a mall retail job, but honestly, I think we INTJ's can be very attractive as prospective employees. I interview very, very well, and I think it's because of my INTJ tendencies, not despite them.

Our confidence can really reassure interviewers. We come across as competent, intelligent, responsible people. I suppose that's Te stuff, but our intuition can help in a huge way. INTJ's have a natural ability to understand the dynamics of complex systems, including businesses. We can easily comprehend the realities of what's involved, and we can see into what potential employers need, and adjust our self-presentation to match. Any portion of an interview where the employer has to explain something tends to be to our advantage, because we can make them feel heard and understood.

There's also the fact that our society values leaders. As introverts, we don't prefer to lead, but we're very capable of it. We understand power, which means we have access to it. People are attracted to power, confidence, and reasonable ambition.

    Weird? Not at all.

The only thing that is weird here is why you would want to work in a mall with people and noise everywhere and anywhere. Congratulations anyway :)

    Thank you =D
And yeah it's actually a gigantic store in the mall, and I'd be working as customer service. I don't now, it's near my house and the payment will be better if it's a bit more, but still I'm not experienced. And I know I can do this job. And the major reason is working so I'd go and finish uni.

Maybe you're right, it's not self-bragging but I find it reasonable.
I was happy and smiling but I was also analyzing and controlling and I was laid back and not nervous.

    Maybe that helped.
If I can't do the work without my skills and qualities I'd sit behind the store glass, and they'd still pay me for my appearance.

Experienced managers can tell quickly when they've found the right one. In a mall setting there is no need for extensive testing either, it is all in how you are likely to make that first impression to the customer that may only be in the store a few minutes. Obviously you impressed them, congratz!
