    Indian INTJ Females?

Hello scientists! Hope all of you are doing well and have your thinking caps on tight.

I'm an ENFP indian male looking for an INTJ indian female that preferably lives in the Bay Area or anywhere in California.

Searching for a best friend has been hard all my life and I'd love to see what the INTJ mind has to offer, as on paper a lot of the characteristics seem extremely lucrative for a harmonious friendship.

Anyways, this is a shot in the dark, but I thought I'd try my luck. Next stop Borders... oh wait they went out of business... B&N it is!

    Thanks

Lucrative? You intend to make a profit from this friendship?

lol, a profit of love! It'd be a win-win situation... not the typical monetary profit we are all programmed to think of in this society. Lucrative can also translate to advantageous. So yea, I'm gonna stick with "win-win"

I'm sure the woman of your dreams exists. But I doubt you'll find her here.

Why do you have to have an INTJ female though? What's wrong with an Indian female of another type?

curiosity of a utopic relationship. being an idealist, i suppose I want the ideal situation. Well, other types have and haven't worked for me... I am currently talking to an ESTJ but I know for a fact it won't work b/w us. She is way to overpowering in conversation, and super blunt and short with people who try to enter a discussion with us...

I suppose if I were never have a relationship with an INTJ indian female I would want at least the iNtuitive trait. INTJ just seems like a good balance. That's what I've always sought after in my life is balance. I want to have someone there who can offer more perspective but still relate to my personality type. That and I love science :-P

Using MBTI probably isn't the best way to go about dating or finding a potential spouse. Just because she's an iNtuitive type, it doesn't mean you're going to have some match made in heaven where you guys have wonderful synergy or something of that nature. But whatever gets you through the day and helps you sleep at night.

wait let me get this right... You're telling me a Personality Indicator will not help me find a compatible partner? I don't think I necessarily agree with you there. Though it may not be the sole indication of a "match made in heaven", I believe the MBTI has a lot to offer. I already know relationships are about give and take and having common interests which the MBTI doesn't touch upon. However, through personality types you can easily categorize motivating factors, social interactions, ambition, and a whole lot of other characteristics that can help in finding a life partner.

Now, I am curious to hear your perspective on dating and how you would find a potential spouse.

She's saying you shouldn't "target" a personality type and that there are healthy and unhealthy specimens of any type. It's largely true. You can have a fulfilling relationship with any type as long as they're mature. You could... Even get an INTP! *gasp*. Relationships with some types are easier than others, but it's not an absolute criteria and it seems to me INTJ females are more prone to preferring mates like them, while INTJ males are the ones going for ENFP females. I would suggest going out and meeting people. If you like a girl, date her. If you're as compatible as you say with INTJs, you'll naturally land one of them. Why does she have to be Indian? Unless you want to wait forever to pick out a subset of a very small minority (female INTJs are the rarest type-gender combination), you should... not be so specific.

In a very crude analogy, the "market" for INTJ females is very small and it's a seller's market.
niravinjian, Pavane and Boolean11 thanked this post.
