    "INTJ: How to Be Extroverted"

Hello to everyone who is reading this! I was going to ask this for all of the INTJs since this is a video only for the INTJ, but if you aren't one, that's okay too (I'm not an INTJ). Does anyone think there's something wrong with this? Not to mention, there's a small error in "extroverted" since Jung spelled the word with an 'a', hence extraverted.

What do you guys think? This video is made by a man who claims that he is an INTJ himself, unless he's mistyped himself.

I don't want to be extraverted though.
His videos are a great start to exploring functions. I don't enjoy his use of Keirsey's temperaments though.

Yeah, I don't really want to be extraverted. Or extroverted. Or a bat.

And this dude's videos are pretty hit-or-miss tbh. Not sure if he's an INTJ, either.

    Didn't watched the video .

For me what makes me "extroverted" is to study a lot of human behavior, facial expressions, body language, psychology, etc. Then I want to be around people to see it at work.

    Then back to the cave.

Being extraverted is very stressful. Trust me, I'm friends with one who pushes me to get into activities that require you to be extraverted. It is very uncomfortable, stresses me out, and can leave me irritated. I do it though because it is a challenge, but I'm constantly fighting to keep with it because I end up sinking back into my introverted world.

I don't want to be extroverted, however, in some situations, one needs to be.

I'd struggled with this my entire life and then I found Toastmasters. It was extremely beneficial to me. I'm no longer active but I did pick up enough skills that I'm much better around people I don't know and even around those I do know.

(I also did not watch the video)

Yeah. I think he's more of an ENTJ. I think an actual INTJ would really reflect internally more before he starts spouting out all sorts of facts. If he were an INTJ, he would say more consistent things. ENTJs are so action oriented (I think it's through Te) that sometimes they don't actually think before they act. INTJs would be better at thinking before they act.

It doesn't make sense either. For any introvert, why would you want to be an extravert? Just look at the title and you know something is wrong.
Perhaps and Pavane thanked this post.

I did pretty much what he said (not all of it): Find an extrovert and imitate him. In my case I picked an ENTP. Worked quite well for me, though putting it on is tiring. I don't envy extroverts anymore.

Didn't watch. True extroversion is the way you think in addition to the way you act.

Anyone can act extraverted and most INTJs have at some point done so due to necessity.

I'm done trying to scramble the innards of my brain, therefore this is pointless in addition to disturbing.

    Dave's alright.

He can be a bit over-zealous sometimes, but most of what he has to say is reliable. This isn't one of his best videos, and not a fair one to base a sweeping generalization of his videos on. I recommend viewing at least four or five of his videos, selected at random, before drawing any conclusions about the rest of his work.

As for his type, he sounds like he could be an INTJ to me. He says he is an INTJ, and I really don't see anything that jumps out at me to discredit that claim.
