I'm asexual, myself. Have no interest in sex and I can't see the appeal of it. Plus, of course, that I don't feel sexually aroused where other (non-asexual) people are.

    I don't think about it a lot but I think I'm demisexual

Napoleptic brought that page up when I was describing the way I go about attraction. I'd never even heard of "demisexual" before here. It describes me to a "T" as well.

There's so much emphasis on finding your "soulmate"/"better half"...the latter is something I find especially creepy. I'm noone's half, neither better nor worse, I'm my own complete person, thank you very much.

Thank you. This is the part I agreed with the most out of your entire views. I'm glad someone sees eye to eye with me. And as for the part where you said single is synonomous for looking, I would have to agree with you that it doesn't have to mean that at all. I'm not looking for my "soul mate" either.

Women also seem to make things exponentially more complicated than they need to be. I have always wanted to have a kid though. That sounds fun. You can always adopt one, but it wouldn't be the same for me. That's one of the only two reasons I'm not asexual. I'm also swayed by phenotypical features. That isn't my fault, that's the way my brain works. To sum it up, I don't like women (in general), and I have no desire to get married. I'm fine with the concept of having sex though, as long as nothing complicated comes of it.
Thanks, Solfonny. I agree with you on the part where you said having a kid would be fun. I would like to at least adopt a child as well (who knows where from?) and then raise them to be the best person I could imagine. I would let them be themselves for sure.
