Do you have daydreams that correspond with music on you Ipod.

With different songs on my Ipod I have certain daydreams. They're actually more like soap operas or fan fictions. Depending on the daydream the song I'm listening to has to have the same mood as the dream. Like if the character's angry or something I would have to be on a rock song. Is this something other INFP's do?

Yes, constantly. For instance, I have the music from Portal 2 on my MP3 player, and every time I listen to "Reconstructing More Science" (look it up if you don't know what I'm talking about), I have this vision of cars driving up to the abandoned Aperture Science building. The scene then shifts to a bunch of scientists fiddling with computer systems, trying to get everything powered up again. And suddenly...GLaDOS awakens.

Turret production lines start up, cubes begin flying through tubes, gels start flowing through pipes, and the scientists get into an elevator to go down to a lower level to investigate (as the music reaches a low point). As the music suddenly picks up, the elevator passes their intended destination, carrying them down, down, down. They try desperately to make it stop, but nothing works.

Then, the elevator slows, entering a massive open chamber, and as the music reaches its high point once more, the scene shows a test chamber being assembled for them before their eyes (the scientists, to their dismay, are without any kind of portal gun at their disposal, or even a set of long-fall boots). Panels assemble into a massive chamber, cube and gel dispensers come out of the ceiling, buttons emerge from the floor and clamp down, pits fill with toxic slime, faith plates are set, turrets are placed on the ground by robotic arms, panels continue to adjust, forming the chamber. And as the final piece (the door) is set in place, the elevator reaches the ground, and the doors are opened. As they step out of the elevator, the scene pulls out, revealing they are inside one of the round testing spheres, and the background fades to white, the sphere morphing into an Aperture Science symbol and sliding to the left side of the screen, the words "Aperture Science Laboratories" appearing. Then...it's over.

    The song I'm talking about:

Oh, right then. Well, it's quite good. A little busy (so some people tell me), but excellent music nonetheless.
