time travel but with the effect that if I went back in the past to change something, then the effect would happen to me, not to some parallel universion version of me...and I wouldnt know that I made that change! oh and control of time too ofcourse! (it's part of the package right?)

I'd love to be immortal, even if the price to pay is watching your loved ones die. But it's not because I don't want to die, it's because I would love to watch the world change, see what becomes of it in a few hundred years. Imagine the nostalgia if you could live hundredths of years! XD

But thats not my top one. I always dreamed of being supernaturally strong and fast! And jumping in the air very high and when falling only hurting the ground, not yourself. :D
Or just be a vampire like one of those in The Vampire Diaries, True Blood or The Vampire Chronicles, they have the whole package!

Agreed, when I read their post. I would hate to have immortality. What would I do with all that time, while I watch my friends waste away? Sounds awful, to be honest..

For me, my top choices are...hm. The ability to control water/ice, as well as being able to heal others. While being able to control time sounds awesome, that kind of power can be abused and I don't think anyone should be trusted with it! Even myself. I think of Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo where Makoto (or was it Mokoto), where she kept repeating time for selfish reasons, like getting good grades and getting out of confrontations. But, to be less of a stickler about it: The ability to stop time would be amazing. I could use it to protect myself from anyone and anything.

But anyway, back to water/ice and healing. I loved this concept from Avatar: The Last Airbender. It would be so much fun to slide around on ice, plus water is in everything, so it would be extremely useful. I like being useful to others, so healing would be nice. Plus I love the cold!

I'd love to fly, but I'd like to use a machine for that. Not sure why, but my favorite flying scene in anime are the "lifting" scenes from Eureka Seven, where they soar the skies on this awesome board thing. THAT would be something I'd love - I don't really like hovering or flying by itself, I have to be really involved in getting myself to lift off, whether if it's using water to carry myself upward or controlling a board to lift.

Time control, in a sense that when I stop time my body doesn't get affected by getting old i. e. cell death... I would stop time and absorb every knowledge ever known for humankind, visit every place that's possible and have every sensation and experience that there is.
I would literally have infinity in my hands.

Definitely the power to pause time. Fast forwarding and rewinding is too much pressure, but think of all the lovely alone time & fun things you could do in paused time!
