This thread is open to ALL types but I know it'll be mostly INFPs who post here. What are some of your best childhood stories? These can be funny, sad, or strange and unexplained. Also, what sort of weird things did you do as a kid and how many of those things do you still do now? You may tell stories about your siblings if you run out of stories about yourself.

Apologies if this thread already exists.

Oh, I just posted something like this in the Random Thoughts thread, but here goes:

My mom recently dug up these letters that I wrote to her when I was little. When she was angry, she would say things like "You don't love me" or "You don't appreciate me" and it would break my heart. And since I couldn't talk to her about it without breaking into tears, I wrote her letters of apology. There were four or five of them in the downstairs closet... she doesn't remember them, but I do.

Naw, but my mom is really great. We're almost exact opposites (she's an ESFJ) but we are really close.

As for other childhood memories... I remember that my favorite thing to do was make up stories in my head, something that I still do now. And I loved playing with stuffed animals, reading, and playing video games.

One of my fondest childhood memories (I'd rather call it more of a practice or an idiosyncrasy) is that I would always view my world and everyone in it as one giant movie. I would create names for people, set the plot, imagine the dialogue written on a script in my head, and whatnot. Yet, of course, I am 18 and I STILL do this...why? Because it is fun!

I remember during recess, I would find syringes all over the place. I had no idea they were used for heroin at the time. Also I think one of my teachers was a pedophile, my memory is kind of fuzzy but I remember he would make us get naked.

I also remember this one kid who punched me in the face and stole my Pokemon cards, I told a teacher and he had to give them back, but he tricked me by telling me this one card he had was extremely rare, so I took it instead of what he stole. I was so naive...

When I was 2, apparently I was really interested in what my dolls were up to in the dollhouse and wanted to get up close so I could pretend I was there too. Well one day I couldn't get my head out of the dollhouse and my parents had to be summoned. They've never let me forget this story.

This was my dad's facebook status this past December 23rd: It's December 23, the eve of Christmas Eve. When Katie was a little kid, she went to bed the night of December 23 with wonder in her eyes and said, "Tomorrow is the day we say 'Tomorrow is Christmas!'" I've always thought that was cute and remember it every year." That's my dad's favorite story about me as a little kid.

Actually most of the best stories about my family revolve around Christmas...
