Or shooting guns. My technique is one that's calm effort so it makes me feel good. I think I'll take up pistol shooting and/or archery in the future. Sometimes I feel like a samurai when I concentrate so single pointedly silly as it sounds. I often have silly role models in this field like Zoro from One Piece, Spike Spiegel, or Carlos Hathcock the US sniper.
Practicing music... for the same reasons, plus imagination and expression. I dig blues, funk. I look up to Jaco Pastorius.
Adventuring/wandering on foot, longboarding. These can get lonesome if I'm always by myself, I usually do em at night and rarely run into anyone since I live in the US suburbs. Sometimes it lets my mind wander, but on a bad day my mind doesn't always wander to cool places, sometimes it just repeats the same dumb thoughts .
paintball/airsoft, rollercoasters. Gets the blood flowing and things action-y.
Just driving and looking around outside ( my eyes are not good, but beautiful weather and sights give me a huge rush)
Internet surfing/reading. I love a good story or useful info. My mind is a T but the soul is F.
Poker and other games help me practice my Ne.
If the company's good enough, anything is fun. I havent had that kind of company in a few months
Meditating, concentrating, or tryingto induce a vision or realization, usually in nature, with or without a substance
Concerts yea. Sadly my "aural gluttony" has resulted in some hearing damage and strong-ish tinnitus. ALWAYS wear plugs at stadium shows if you're in the front! |

The way the music becomes the engine to my train of thought is exactly what I need. Screaming the lyrics of my favorite songs when the sun is beating down is some times I ever feel fully in the moment...even if I'm probably day dreaming while doing so.
I also love looking like I'm feeling. I think it's fun to express myself through my hair, make-up, and clothes. So what could be more fun than dying and cutting the hair of others?
I love conversations that leave me feeling inspired or wondering more. I think it's fun to share ideas with other people. It's fun to believe in your dreams. And anything that provokes optimism for the future is fun to me.
I also love spur of the moment decisions...like getting iced cream, or driving to Times Square with my best friend because we feel like. Nothing is more fun than doing what my heart beckons. |
