I understand how you feel. I have accepted that the world will never be perfect, and that I will never be able to change that. Despite this, we can make a difference, regardless of how small it is. If you think about it, the world has progressed in terms of morales. But,there will always be greedy assholes, corruption and injustice, and there's notthing we can do to change that. All you can do is live your life according to your ideals, and hope for the best. As much as we'd like to believe otherwise, were not perfect either. Humans are flawed. Without the negatives there would be no positives.

I see the world now and I am know that it is so different to say 2000 years ago. We have skyscrapers, can fly across the world in hours, the internet, space travel, and so much technology. At first glance it seems we have advanced from the backward past and now I see this is more of a massive lie. Humans have created many spectacular things but that is just our technological achievements. Humanity as a whole has not advanced. We still have war, we still have capital punishment, this obsession with greed, abuses of power, the list goes on. But remember we have free will. Man has choices and the ability to not do what is wrong and not do that which is just good for you but rather for others. Man must educate himself and keep an open, curious, and caring mindset.

Just because humanity seems hopeless does not mean you have to follow it. There are good people in the world do not forget that.

I know there are good people on this planet, but we, as humans, are too greedy to give up our luxurious lives for the 100 million (just guessing) other fascinating species on this planet..
I think most people would want to, but it's almost impossible as we would all have to do it together..
I've pretty much given up the hope that my kids will see polar bears..It depresses me how messed up the environment is.
