    Letting 'em have it.

If you're like me, you try to avoid confrontation unless it's very necessary. Have you ever had a falling-out with a type that's distant from ours?

I was working a short-term promotion with an ESTJ manager. I usually make the effort to get along with that type, but this individual was at her worst. It wasn't even her demanding barks that frustrated me...continual insults, constant profanity, and blatant lies appeared to be her credo.

When she began treating our team harshly one day I couldn't hold it in any longer. I didn't quite explode but I furiously challenged her to a debate by calling her out on her unprofessionalism and inconsistencies. Oddly enough she appeared stumped and had a hard time answering my questions. Surprisingly she didn't even ask me to leave (which was what I expected). I left anyway (quit), went home and immediately wrote a lengthy detailed account to her supervisor.

The other team members were unanimously glad that I did what I did. They were as frustrated as I was yet too scared to speak up. Most of them were extroverts. I can't understand how badly people are willing to be treated for the sake of the almighty dollar.

    Anyone have similar experiences?

No, but I fucked the shit out of my cat once.

    True story.

Sure. My sense of principle is a lot stronger than my instinct for self-preservation.
