I checked all but religion, im not a religious person. I highly value those. Idk about placing animals at human level. Although I do have respect and sympathy for the welfare of animals, and think animal torture and abuse is wrong but I don't think in a serious situation I would place a animals life over a human one.

I remember watching District 9 a few years ago when that first came out, although the emphasis of the movie was to feel bad for the aliens, I didn't for some reason. It was the opposite for me in that case. I think it had something to do with the fact these aliens had advance technology to travel light years in space, come to earth and then randomly get stuck out of nowhere. It didn't make much sense, idk.

That's too bad. Seriously, just find those who are worth your attention and give it to them and you will receive in return from them the same thing. I think this is one of the most serious INFP issues, learning not to be empathic with everybody. There was this old drunk guy yesterday, I had to get him out from in front of a car cause he was blocking the street and there was this huge garbage disposing truck trying to get out of that narrow street. I couldn't not feel emphatic with both the drivers, who couldn't get out and do their job and with the drunk, cause I've been in the situation to be that drunk when I can't walk in a straight line. Managed to make him get out of the way...even if I was in a hurry, even if he didn't understand much of what I was saying and so on...I couldn't help not helping solve the situation.

Most of the times there is nothing I can do to solve a situation...like I see a lot of homeless people and I wish I could do something to help them, I put myself in their shoes, imagine what kind of life that must be, sometimes I see couples, or old ladies, or kids...I see a lot of drunks too, but my emphaty is limited for them, they could have used the money to buy alcohol to buy food...then I think yeah, but if you lived your whole life on the streets and life would be a fight for survival everyday, you'd wanna drink your way out of reality too...not all people can phase out in a different world like we INFPs can...

Anyway, I'm getting really off topic, my point is like extroverted feelers must learn to set some limits to whom they help, we introverted feelers must set some limits to our empathy, who we feel for. Otherwise you go crazy.

Well put. Here is an example:

You trip in front of a large crowd and everyone laughs.

Someone who is sympathetic will feel a certain sorrow for because you are embarrassed.
Someone who is empathetic will feel your embarrassment.

I chose devotion, sympathy/empathy, altruism and fairness, as those seemed to be exceptionally important to me out of that list. I also chose "other", which I shall elaborate on soon.
Devotion to one's loved ones, values, basically what one holds dear, is very important to me, at least my own devotion, not sure about other people. Sympathy/empathy is one of my most important values; I try my best not to make other people feel bad when it is not inevitable, and it greatly saddens me that so many other people do not care about this. Now, this actually has to do with altruism as well. Fairness is also a very core value for me; other people receiving treatment that is not equal, well, infuriates me. Especially if the one giving unequal treatment is an authority of some sort. I thought about checking "morals" as well, but "morals" as a word has a sort of conservatist clang to me so I find it unpleasant. Religion, as in organized religion, is not very close to my heart, although I am a sort of spiritual person. The other options on the list are at least somewhat important to me as well, but not as much as the ones I chose.
By choosing "other", I meant some other values very close to my heart, one of them being beauty and the appreciation of beauty. This is mainly related to art, though also the beauty of nature, inner beauty of people et cetera.
And then there's authenticity. Being true to oneself and the people around you. We all wear masks, so do I, but I suppose that is just part of who we are. Actually lying to people and putting on a façade for one's own interests is what I find, well, off-putting.
