I suck at math, sorry. I just do my best to get through it. Read formula over and over again etc. Math is like... ugh. I'ts not my worst subject grade wise, but its just so freaking challenging. I keep notes handy for assignments. I also use the internet for help when I am stuck. If you are like me, essentially practice makes passable. Other than that, perhaps seek help from an instructor, tutor or math whiz friend.

Also I never had a real problem with Geometry. It's like if I can give the problem a shape and identity, it makes it easiER.

School was a breeze for me....sorry, can't help much. Oh, I do agree that giving context to a math problem helps. For me, this is abstract, not some cheesy word problem about two trains leaving at the same time, blah blah blah.

My best subjects are anthropology, sociology, history, etc. I was pretty good at environmental sciences too.
I can't stand math at all.. but all my roommates are engineers, so I have to tolerate discussions on various disgusting formulas.
