What would you be famous for?

In elementary school, my art teacher got us to create our own cover for Time magazine. We had to imagine what would get us on the cover. I thought this would be the perfect forum to share our child-like sense of hope and imagination.

(Mine was for inventing a happiness machine).

I'd be famous for building the pain machine.

If you built the happiness machine, they wouldn't know pain, or probably they'd forget how it feels like.
So I'm building it for them so they will always have an option.

If I was remembered in any way, it'd probably be for my teaching of Primary School kids at a camp I worked at. I literally have around 50 letters pinned up all over my walls from them.

If I'm being my more idealistic self though, I'd want to be famous and remembered for a drummer/songwriter/philosopher all into one :D I haven't thought through all the details as to why though..

Probably serving as a bridge between society and criminals + the homeless.

There is no such thing as rehabilitating a criminal or someone who is homeless without the inviting arms of society encouraging them back. I believe a lot of people are forgiving and open minded of others once they understand. They want to help, but they don't know how. Give them a bridge and they'll cross it to lend a hand.

I'd be famous for writing the best novel ever. It would, or I would be, the female version of Hunter S. Thompson. The novel would be so powerful, it would change the lives of all who read it.

Oh, btw, in case anyone hadn't noticed, I haven't achieved female Hunter S. Thompson status. Or even Molly Ivins-like. Maybe I'll start that novel after I retire.

I'm not so sure I'd take it as a compliment that TIME magazine would put me on it's cover, honestly. If they did I would wonder if I did something wrong.
