INFP's and Power

I'm curious INFP's.. what would you do if you had control of the world?:)

Someday's I get power hungry and then I realize I wouldn't use power to control people- I would use my power to buy an Island and live in a Swiss Family Robinson House- the love of my life with me of course but everybody else... ehh

I'd be totally fine being a hermit with a family and a gorgeous environment:)

If I had control of the world, I wouldn't do too much other than soften the edges. There would be so much that I would want to fix and change to make it a better place for everybody, but I wouldn't do it.

One thing I've learned though history is that sudden change is always violent, even when it is used to accomplish something positive such as ending slavery or putting an end to Fascism. I like to think of it like a pendulum clock. If you grab the pendulum and move it forward there will always be opposing force to jerk it just as far back in the opposite direction. The only way to move the pendulum in the direction you want without the backlash is to tilt the entire clock (slowly change the system as a whole.)

The changes I would make is to give guaranteed financial incentive to be better educated, in most circumstances the more things you're exposed to, the more open-minded you'll become.

I've discussed this with my friends (in terms of being in charge of a country):

My ISTJ friend would run everything practical and actually necessary for the existence of the country
My INTJ friend would run the libraries and the arts funding
I would be the goofy and non-sensical press secretary. I would go on huge Ne like spiels and huge Fi rants about the state of the world.

So yeah, even if I could have power, I would be a minion, someone without any real responsibilities. I couldn't stand really being in charge of anything - I would leave it to the super competent people like my ISTJ friend.

I would probably hand the power over to someone more competent. I would probably end up hurting people by accident with my fluctuating emotions.

I love this~ This made me think.. power doesn't lie within the hands of those in charge but with those who are inspiring and evoking emotional responses in those in charges... Think of a puppeteer and a puppet:)
