What are you scared of?

I'm frightened (yet strangely addicted) to little critters with hundreds of legs. Like most of the population.

And I'm quite afraid of my life just passing me by...

But to me, fear is something we should really take notice of and learn from. How about you, big or small, what are you frightened of?

I'm not scared of enough, honestly.

I'm afraid of being stuck and repeating the same hell over and over again.
I'm afraid of having no meaning in life.

I'm afraid of what I am capable of.

I am not afraid enough.

I'm scared of demons who are actually multidimensional extraterrestial beings who are at war with humanity planning to steal are souls. That and dying abruptly.

I'm scared of being lonely.
I'm scared of not being able to fully be myself.
I'm scared of being in bad situations and bad environments.
I'm scared of messing thing up.
I'm scared of the unknown and the future and being haunted by the past.

- rejection
- disappointing people
- confrontation
- being misunderstood
- inadequacy
- forgetting how to feel (for whatever reason); becoming desensitized
- losing myself in the crowd
- forgetting my values
- dying before i feel i've done enough
- dying before i live
- never learning how to ask for what i want
- dying without having been understood
- imposing
- inconveniencing others

Making a bad, or truly, many bad decisions for myself and those around me. Ex. repeating my judgment error and marrying the wrong person, again. Except then there is the fear of never living because I'm too afraid of moving, of doing something, of making a decision. Then there's the fear of discovering that I have not been living *my* life, but another's because I have not have the courage to actually do what I want and what I need...

I'm afraid to be cliche, but I truly do fear waking up one day and realizing that my life has passed me by and I never did experience it as I wanted or needed to.

Another fear is that now that I have accepted that it is possible for me to love another with the entirety of myself, I will still never find him. I'd rather be alone than settle... but that's such a lonely life, and I fear that I am only a few months from stepping onto that path with no hope of turning back, and I will never realize it. If I think about that one too much, I become paralyzed until something comes by and manages to snap me out of it. Daydreaming a nightmare, I suppose. *shivers*
