What imaginary world you prefer to live in, out of A and B (feel free to add whatever scenarios you want to what I have outlined), and why? (no going around the question!)

A. A mysterious, medieval place sometime in the past, where people have magical powers. But there subsists an oppressive power faction and feudal social system. There is often war, and lots of injustice. However, you have somewhat more profound powers than other people (but having special powers in particular is somewhat taboo). And there is lots of wonder to be explored (it is a mysterious and magical world with lots to be discovered; like talking animals etc). There are many of magical battles to fight and mysteries to be solved...

B. A future thousands of years from now, where technological capacity has expanded to the point where many things are possible (time travel, space travel within reason, medical technology and practice is superior, super computers, new synthetic materials e.g. super shields, invisibility cloaks [:P], AI, everything else you imagine). Communities are largely politically stable, but many threats still arise (biological warfare, concerns about human rights and privacy etc). People sometimes go missing, and there are so many people on the planet, nobody seems to notice. many things that go on, are easily covered up. Technology has enabled many things, both good and bad (i'll leave the gaps to be filled by you).

Also, what other fictional world would you be most interested in exploring, that you have come across? or have you created or imagined a world that you would like to share?

Definitely the past one. You're closer with nature and you take a lot less for granted. It also just sounds more fun, with the negatives included. The future seems bleak to me.

I'd vote for past. I'm a romantic at heart and even with the many negatives of the Medieval past I could envision myself there. That's why I would waste my time playing Runescape and other such RPG's. Thinking about it though, If I go with the future scenario, I could just time travel back. Thanks for making me pondering this all day now,,,

A- I hate technology with a passion

This world, but plus Hogwarts. And I'd like to go to Hogwarts, or whatever wizarding school they may have in the US.

From those two choices, I would have to say the first one. I really do believe that technology increases the emotional distance between people for the most part. Obviously, this forum is an exception, but when I look around and see all of these people texting instead of talking to the person next to them... I don't know, it makes me a little sick.

...Well, the future one, because the practical side of me loves the idea of superior medical technology (ZOMG hover-wheelchairs would be so awesome I want one!). I'd so be dead in the middle ages I love the whole mysterious magical world idea, but to live there wouldn't be all that great. Sci-fi is more fun.

EDIT (why is it I always remember what I wanted to say after I push "post?"): I'd probably go into police-like work or something, trying to find those missing or trying to do Good like that.

Not an INFP, but weirdly enough, the latter sounds a lot more magical to me (I mean, time travel and invisibility cloaks vs. talking animals?) And I have so always wanted to have robot servants!

I pick World B. I would like to imagine that I could do anything in World B and no one would notice or care. I feel like it would be more free, less violent, and you'd have a lot more options. Like time travel. I would LOVE to be able to time travel. The primitive, oppressive feudal system sounds pretty awful to me. Yeah, basically my thoughts too (I was surprised so many INFP's with their penchant for ethics picked the first).

Plus with world B you get a time machine. So you could visit world A if you wanted to.
