Ah, the question of favorite dream! The first one that pops into my head is one that I had 10 or 11 years ago about Freddie Mercury (singer of Queen). I dreamed he came into my room with a paper bag on his head. I didn't know who he was, then he removed the bag and got in bed with me. He whispered to me "YOU'RE GOING STRAIGHT TO MERCURY!" and I said, "I am? Why?" and he replied, "because Mercury is the sun's favorite planet!" and he gave me this look like he was proudest man in the world. Then we proceeded to make out.

What kinds of dreams do you get during your sleep?
I think they are pretty cool dreams. Dreams, that when I wake up and explain to husband, we laugh. Mostly they are nonsensical.

Do you get a lot of nightmares?
No. I can't remember the last time I had a nightmare.

    Realistic dreams?
Yes. I have a sense of smell in dreams. A sense of touch. Colors.

Or some really really weird stuff that belongs in an acid trip?
    Yes.

What do you guys dream about?
Last night I dreamt I was at work and they were changing my job from what I do now to "Musical Director". I remember saying, very seriously in the dream, "but I can't even sing."

Ahh..one of my recent dreams was a friend of mine turning into a fish, but the second was more dark. I was beating up bullies in that one. Also, I think I have had lucid dreams before. When I didn't like what was happening in the dream, I could change it.

Wow, some awesome dreamers. I don't remember them often, but when I do, holy cow, I remember them for years. I've also had prophetic dreams... once I dreamed while living in Spain that my sister was running away from me and I couldn't catch her. I woke up really upset and called my parents right away and asked to speak to her... and it turned out I couldn't, because she had run away two days before. But I hadn't spoken to anyone and I didn't know that. Another time I dreamt that my mom died and I woke up and called her, and she was in the emergency room with chest pains. (She was ok though, but weird, right?) I've had like four or five of those.

But my fave dream of all time was one I had when I was 15 and it is still vivid to this day. I went into my bedroom one day and it was a balcony overlooking the pit of hell and there was this demon in it, and he tried to come up and get me but there was this invisible glass dome and he could only come up halfway. But since he couldn't kill me he possessed everyone on earth except five people, and we all united with this blind woman leading us and we were going to fight the demon, except for one guy named Denny who was too afraid to go onto the balcony. So she made him face his fear by hanging over the balcony, over the fiery pit. But then he got all arrogant about it and started doing it to show off, and his arrogance gave the demon the strength he needed and he gathered all his power and rammed the invisible barrier, shattering it, and eating Denny while the rest of us fled into my backyard, which had suddenly turned into a grocery store that only sold toilet paper and marshmallows. And everyone in the store was a ghost except us and the possessed henchmen the demon sent in after us. So the dream ends with my group sneaking through the labyrinthine white aisles surrounded by ghosts, while we are being hunted by deranged possessed maniacs bent on destroying us.

I don't know what it means, but it was effing awesome :)

Sometimes I have mildly strange dreams, but other times my subconscious decides to go all out with the craziness. I once had such a funny dream, where I dressed up as human-sized egg, and I was trapped in an abandoned restaurant inhabited by a kingdom of eggs which was ruled by a dictator egg who had overthrown the previous King egg.

My dreams are usually intense. I also have reoccurring dreams that start off where it left off from previous nights- sometimes they're fun, sometimes they're a bit scary but, overall I enjoy them<3

I think I've got all sorts of dreams. I don't remember all of them. Sometimes when I wake up, I'm really glad the dream wasn't real (I once dreamed about falling down stairs and then I was just lying there dead and I wanted to open my eyes, but I couldn't and then I opened them for real). Then there are silly dreams (chutes in my house, leading from one room to another). And some dreams are just weird (my sister turned into a Dalek - an alien in Doctor Who).

My dreams are really weird usually. They're much more vivid and exciting if I happen to be reading a good book at the time. They get duller when I'm stressed.

A few nights ago I dreamed I was being forced to relive the same lifetime over and over and over until I was able to fix this hole in the universe, which was invisible and undetectable. Over my multiple lifetimes, I had transcended mere humanity and become a shape-changing spider demon, which I had to keep secret from everyone. I was there in this empty village with Prince Zuko and Toph, neither of whom were aware that we were trapped in a time-loop. We met some elderly versions of Mako, Bolin and Korra, and I pretended that everything was normal so that no one else became aware of the universe-hole. In the middle of the empty village was a giant skyscraper, and there was a CEO's office at the top containing some files that I needed. I told my avatar friends to wait outside in case of trouble.

As I made my way up the staircase, I became more and more aware that I was being followed by Sherlock Holmes. I couldn't see him, but he had left evidence of his presence. I knew I didn't have much time before he caught up with me and put an end to my plans. I think he knew about the spider-demon thing. Anyways, I reached the top floor of the empty skyscraper. The windows were all blown open and papers were scattered all over the place. I knew that someone had recently been in the skyscraper, but they obviously tried to make a quick escape with the files I needed. I cursed my luck. When I turned around to go back down, Sherlock Holmes was right there, and so was my High School Principal, Mrs. Holnagle. Sherlock said that he had guessed my plan from the beginning and that the files were somewhere I wouldn't find them, thanks to Mrs. Holnagle.

Except right at that moment, I realized that Mrs. Holangle wasn't human anymore either. She was like me, except the opposite (I wasn't really good or evil in this dream, so I can't say for sure what my opposite was supposed to be.) She shape-shifted into a giant shark-octopus hybrid (sharktopus?) and started to destroy everything, and I turned into a million little spiders to escape her. I somehow got Sherlock to safety, and then I turned into one GIANT spider-monster, the same size as her sharktopus, and we had a pretty epic fight. I woke up before it ended, though.

As thoroughly random as all that seemed, I'm pretty sure I can actually interpret it pretty well--- the skyscraper is my mind, the files are something I needed to remember but kept forgetting, the hole in the universe and the time-loop was the seemingly endless and emotionally exhausting creative project I had been working on at the time of the dream, Sherlock was my own guilt catching up to me, and Mrs. Holnagle was the manifestation of rules and deadlines and various authorities I had been trying to work with. It's all there. And Zuko and Toph were different parts of my own psyche, accompanying me along in this impossible quest. Not completely sure about the Sharktopus or the million spiders.

I remember a lot of my dreams and I seldom ever have good dreams. I dream a lot about tornadoes, accidents, sometimes death, being abandoned, the paranormal...

    I need good dreams.
