I've always liked how some people have an aloe vera plant in their bathroom and they just tear off a leaf when they need some of its healing properties.
So I expanded that into a mint plant in the kitchen where you can tear off a leaf and toss it in your hot water ( = mint tea!). $$$
when i talk to people online i often equate spelling mistakes with enthusiasm..not sure why i think a few people i used to talk to alot used to do this when they were excited...or it could be for no reason
I downloaded so much music today. I am a very happy person right now. ^_^
Oh, also I got Portal for free (finally) and it is AMAZING!
Oh boy how much I love the sea! And how much I dread the mystery in it at the same time!
It's way easier for me to forgive an enemy than a friend.
My mother just got in touch with her nephew, who has served in the Forces, and that segued into a conversation about all kinds of things. I heard that apparently when I was very young, when my grandparents would be discussing topical issues (eg. politics/immigration) in the newspaper, I was quite vocal and outspoken even then. Not only that, but she could also picture me saying the same kinds of things today as I did then. It made her want to disappear sometimes because my grandparents were rather more... conservative in their views, and she didn't want any conflict. It's funny, because I don't remember that at all, and was under the impression I only grew into my opinions a little later on. For all the depth of understanding I have accrued, it seems my feelings are rather constant. Is it any wonder I can be so confused by people who change so dramatically? I wish I knew why I felt so uncertain about my identity at times when all signs point in a particular direction.

Why is math a mandatory subject?
I want to study literature or art.
It's not like I'm ever going to use the binomcdf function on my graphic calculater in my later life.
It's not like it's any good for my general education either, because it's keeping me from doing really important stuff like reading Simone the Beauvoir.
Now that's education.
