I saw this over in one of the other threads, and have been thinking a good deal recently about how logic is only truth-preserving, not truth-finding, and always needs bases to work from. I tend to find my ideals by dragging them out logically until they end somewhere that just about anyone wouldn't like, but other opinions can't hurt. Anyway, I thought it may not be a bad idea to look around for an idealist to yell at me if they figure out that I'm thinking something stupid before I do.

Anyway... where would you find yourself on a college campus in the city? I wouldn't imagine parties would be a good place to look... but neither is hanging around in the apartment. What would you be doing with yourselves?

The campus cafe is probably where you will see me. haha. I usually like to converse with friends during my break and the cafe is a great place for us to do this. We have a beautifully designed cafe at my campus.

When I was in college, I was involved in a group for poets, and I also spent a lot of time in the art building working on projects, even after hours when I had to fix the door lock a certain way or sneak in through the windows to be there. There were also soundproof rooms where I liked to practice my music, but they were only for music majors. I was an art major who was minoring in philosophy. When nobody had left any of the doors to the soundproof rooms unlocked, I would play in random stairwells. I spent a lot of time alone. If I wasn't alone, I was with my friends, who were mostly NF types from my art and writing classes. I also spent a lot of time in the cafeteria because it was a good place to meet with my friends if I didn't know where they would be. Everyone has to eat eventually.

Where was that quote in the OP from? Why was I referenced (assuming neph is short for NephilimAzrael)?

It was from the thread on gay marriage. I was agreeing with your position, but had a different reason for coming to the same conclusion, NephilimAzrael.

haha you all and your art buildings. I never have any reason to go into there... but that's good to know. Hard to do, though, because I'm never on campus in the evenings or on weekends.

Anywhere else in a city? Parks or trails, concerts, gardens or museums? If your dorm (my apartment is technically campus housing) ran little social things on the weekends, would you be there to find friends, or would you just find them in your classes?
