Has anybody else looked at the Unibomber documentary before?

I watched the whole documentary yesterday, and it really made me think about how the rest of the world really views introverted people. During the last part of the show, Law Enforcement spoke about how they used their on staff Psychologist to create a mental profile of Ted Kaczynki. If you have seen it and you were paying attention, did you notice how many times they used introvert negatively? I know that in the US introverts are a little misunderstood, however I think they were going a little too far with the whole " he must be an introvert" thing.

I agree that Ted has "issues" and yes he was an introvert (a rather extreme case of one at that), but i'm pretty sure if you were to look very closely you would find that there were just as many extroverts flying off the handle like this as well. It kinda made me feel like they were trying to say that being an introvert is synonymous with being a psychopath.

Thoughts or feelings about this anyone?

If there is one thing I've learned, it's that people will will fear that which they can't understand, to minimize the threat that unknown variable pose they will (being extroverts) condemn it publicly seeing as it is the thing they believe will have the greatest effect (As it is what would hurt them the most).

They being 'sane' (in their own world), will look for the differences that explain this behavior, the first thing they see is: "They are introverted, reclusive and don't like to be around people", and then think "But I do!" And then they have a plausible excuse to do what they think is justified.

People in general are pretty narrow minded and will have a hard time not to be biased.

I call this mess humanity >.<

Oh boy, I have to add my conspiracy views, can't help it!

At the height of the investigation, when the chief suspect was apprehended, the investigation ended right when it should have started, and there was no search for accomplices. The unabomber manifesto suggested more than one perpetrator. In fact the FBI came up with the name 'unabom-er' which actually means "one bomber". Convenient eh? Using this scapegoat, many, many different bombing incidents were blamed on one guy even though no evidence was put forward to link him to most of the bombings. The FBI didn't let anyone near the cabin after his arrest, and recovered truckloads of evidence out of his small space (all the evidence was taken and hid from public view). There was no trial, just a plea, and the media made sure he would be found guilty by declaring him the lone wolf behind all of the bombs the day that he was apprehended.

The forensic sketch of a man in a hooded sweatshirt with glasses, mustache, and red curly hair was made by a witness of a bombing in Salt Lake City in 1987. The female witness later could not identify Ted Kazinski as the man she saw. Kazinski's surrender took place in the Scapegoat wilderness, next to the scapegoat eatery in Lincoln, Montana.
