so my boyfriend has bet me $20 bucks that he can survive the night without speaking to me and i sent him a text some time ago. my question is, if you haven't heard from your girl in awhile; would you rather her say a spontaneous "i love you" or "i miss you"?

I'd prefer something like "I love you goofball" or maybe a just plain "dork"

I prefer "I miss you" as well, at least in these times.
I miss you sort of says "I wish you were here right now"

I love you, implies "HEY, I was just thinking about you! You mean a lot to me"
but doesn't necessarily imply an immediate desire to connect or talk.

How about both in the same message? but put I miss you first, as in "I miss you, I love you" or something like that.
