The flamming lips

And recently I've discovered:

Is it just me or does INFP's seem to prefer music that's more or less melancholic, even though some of the music isn't directly sad?
Musicians I like:
- John Mayer
- Common
- Jill Scott
- Jay-Z
- Ani DiFranco
- Dwele
- Prokofiev
- Musiq Soulchild
- Michael Buble
- Alicia Keys (her early albums)
- Q-Tip
Lykke Li, Bat for Lashes, Santigold, Sleigh Bells, The Gossip, 80's music...
I suppose most of the music I listen to is "thoughtful" or would probably be considered "melancholic" by some. Looking through my list, a majority of the artists make music that would probably be considered melancholic most although I never thought of it in that way. I just like music that I can relate to, stirs my soul and makes me think.
joy division, REM, nirvana, smashing pumpkins, the doors, violent femmes, david bowie, the beatles, the pixies, placebo, velvet underground and the list goes on... maybe
Listening to Slowdive!
I also dig:
My Bloody Valentine
Radiohead
Ulrich Schnauss
Talk Talk
The Beatles
A Perfect Circle
Sonic Youth
Nirvana
lotsa 90s stuff![]()
