    Dark sense of humor?

I was wondering if it's common for an INFP to have a dark humor side. I seem to lose my sensitivity when people do things that violate my ideals and they end up screwing themselves over. I look at it like instant karma and I get a certain sense of satisfaction from it.

I often do especially on games where people do stupid things and get themselves killed or when I do something to an innocent person and get them killed or stuck leaving them wondering what just happened. >.>
There's alot of other things I do which are a dark sense or "Cheeky" humor but it normally only happens on games.

My sense of humor seems to be what is considered "INTP humor".
I laugh heartily at things other people tend to find "vile" and "horrendous", even jokes about the worst atrocities committed by mankind can be funny to me.

And of course I laugh when someone does something I would normally consider stupid and ends up hurting themselves either physically or mentally. Especially when they try to prove me wrong. Then I usually feel really bad about laughing at them, and wish I could be the bigger person. I need to learn how to avoid the whole "I told you so" thing, but my feelings just override everything in those situations

I don't intentionally try to have a dark sense of humor, but if the observation/idea is funny... well I'm still going to laugh. Funny is funny... you can't control it.

Jokes that are just horrible to be horrible, like dead baby jokes and racist jokes... I'm pretty sensitive to those. I don't find them entertaining, I can understand them in a way... but it's not what I like at all.

    It's got to be clever...

Yes, my sense of humor can be very dark. I tell death and rape jokes. And even goody-goodies laugh.

(I am E/INFP) I do laugh at horrendous things as long as they happen to horrendous people who need to have such horrific things happen to them. My Dad is INTJ and he thinks I have a bad sense of humor since I like to write stories about people with three or four rows of teeth that morph into horses and step on chickens to kill them

I love a nice dark joke every now and then. As long as it happens to the 'right' people. I know this is all wrong of me but of course I wouldnt want anything like that to REALLY happen to them.

Sometimes I like to shock people by saying things like when you have noisy kids you should always be careful to bring the tranquillizers and the electroshock device with you.
But I have learned to be careful with that one because, believe it or not, some people actually take me seriously.

This is exactly what I told my sister yesterday! I told her, "I feel bad but their lack of scruples overrides my sensitivity to the tragedy."

I was talking about the Congo explosion where everyone died because of one fool smoking a cigarette while looting spilled oil from an overturned tanker truck.
