So I have a background in psychology but the work can be emotionally exhausting and it's pretty low-paying (I do assessments a few days a week). I want to complement my work with something creative that also pays well. I could write poetry but that pays nothing. Somebody suggested graphic design. Do you guy have experience with that? Or do you hold a job that pays well but is flexible too and makes use of your creativity?



I also thought of human resources (it was listed under INFP careers) but I don't see how that's supposed to make use of my creativity. Also, I don't like firing people and people in human resources are involved in doing that.

In regards to graphic design, I always thought that Web Design could be the happy medium of creativity and well(ish) paying. But when it comes down to it in reality there are deadlines to be met (I imagine its pretty fast paced too) and they really care much more about functionality over how "pretty" it looks. In any graphic design work, you'll find that all they really want is a design that makes them the most amounts of money so you'll most likely be setting aside your inspirational ideas unless they happen to please the client (which ive heard numerous times that clients make your life a living hell sometimes).

But who knows, I've never actually gone into these fields I'm just lettin ya know what I've heard.
