in regards to fairies, you know your an infp when you won't say THAT phrase. if you ever read or watched the movie Peter Pan you know what i am talking about. i won't say it, even though it is true for me, i don't really.....(you know what goes here, it doesn't count unless i finish the sentance) but even though i don't i wont say it, perhaps maybe a part of me wants to believe so i am just being safe and avoiding that phrase :)

they say if you don't believe....and you say that (finishing the sentance) a fairy somewhere dies :( i don't want any fairies to die.

What type is your dog? Probably Exxx? I've heard that most dogs are extroverts and cats introverts. The funny thing is, I'm sure one of my cats is ESFJ. He really, really loves people, is self assured and very intrusive of my privacy. He usually follows me around the house, and whenever I take notice of him, he drops down on the floor, rolls over, and DEMANDS a cuddle. I can’t decide if it’s irritating or cute… Must admit I love my INFP cat more. Is that wrong of me? I guess I should try to love them both just as much, so one of them doesn’t feel neglected. But, then again, it’s so much harder to hurt an ESFJ cat. He’s just so confident and insensitive. I feel that my INFP cat needs some love and gentle attention. She is very reserved, fragile and random. Every day, I try to have at lest one good conversation with her:-)

The funny thing is...my boyfriend is an ESFJ and your description of your ESFJ cat sort of sounds like him!!! :)
Anyway, I actually think my dog Sparticus is an INFP because he will play with my other dogs, but only when HE feels like it. Most of the time he the loner of the group...off in the corner just staring into space or playing with one of his toys by himself. However, out of my 3 dogs, he is the most clingy towards me and always wants to be as physically close to me as I will let him...so I'm not sure?? But I know for sure he is an INxx! I feel very compelled to defend him when other people make fun of him for being "weird"...haha :)
As for my other two dogs...they are very excitable, social, affectionate ESFx's! :)

When talking to people you don't know really well and they talk about their lives all you can think to do is smile (just to be polite) and say things like "oh, uhhuh" "wow, that's cool" "yeah". The conversation usually ends with an awkward silence lol
