Lol! I eat the fruit in my house according to it's shelf life, because I feel terrible throwing it away. I'll eat the mealy apple, the mushy banana, or the dry orange if I have to.

Oh my, every single gosh darn day. I will sometimes either get a lump in my throat or laugh out loud, or smile randomly when playing out these hypothetical situations. I'm so glad I'm not the only one :)
