I love to hike.I love to be outdoors,I never feel so relieved or so free as I do when I can hike or just explore nature.Although recently i've had some nostalgia and some sadness over the fact that my dad was always the one when I was younger that took me outdoors, took me hiking/fishing took me places that he knew I would love and now he's been in boston and we don't really talk and he's not here especially now that it's going to be spring to take me places anymore. I still have it in me to want to go hiking/fishing exploring but I don't have anyone really that I'm close with that likes to do the same things I do I hope to convince some people coming up because I am desperate for some outdoors time.

(I'm 21 and can't drive it limits what I am able to do..)

I spend nearly everyday outdoors. I get ridiculously depressed if I'm inside or in a city for too long.

Well I see its a fairly commen theme that INFP'S love nature :) I love being outside and hiking or rockclimbing. I love the challange of climbing and hiking my way to the top of a cliff, I love the serenity I feel when i watch the harmonous flow of water in lakes. But most of all i enjoy the animals! I guess thats one thing im gratful about living in texas for, we get beavers, hawks, and mountain lions

End of the season party last Saturday. It hasn't been a great season snow-wise, but there is still a little snow if you know where to hike. ;-)

This was an illegal turn--I hiked uphill where patrol didn't like it--and I got busted. Last day of the season, so he didn't pull my pass. Anyway, there was no sign and I crossed no rope so the charges wouldn't have stuck.

@Luis Fuego, tonight is my first shift working in a gear shop since a very long time ago. It feels good to be home.

I'm temping at REI. Just stocking product. But looking for a full time job in other mountain shops. It's how I started out when I was in college and it feels great to go back to it.

ha! i worked for almost three years at REI, it has been by far the BEST company I've worked for. Trying to go back there, actually.

I live in Maine, so being outdoorsy is a common thing here. Although I'm not always outside, when I do, I like going on hikes and big bike rides. It's kind of like meditation for me sometimes.

I absolutely adore the outdoors. Im very lucky to live near some really nice spots, not far from a few forest area's, parks, the beach. I used to shy from the outdoors when I was a little younger but now I appreciate it like no other. I just think to myself, how lucky I am to be alive and witness the real beauty from my own eyes. How can anyone not appreciate natural beauty? Its the most grounding thing, it makes me feel alive.
