Do women respond more to words or actions?

I was talking to a girl earlier and she said that she thinks women respond more to words than actions. We discussed the jerk theory and she believes that a woman who is attracted to jerks has low self-esteem and wants a man who has more confidence than she does, therefore she seeks men who are arrogant and self-centered. (This particular girl doesn't like jerks by the way) She didn't know anything about MBTI until I told her. She is an EN*J who is very interested in me and found it hard to believe that I am introverted/shy or INFP. I guess I hid that pretty well. We were talking about how Rihanna supposedly still loves her boyfriend after he assaulted her, and how little self-respect she must have to run back into his arms. As much as I want to feel sorry for her, I just can't. You reap what you sow; and that's the kind of man she chose....instead of an INFP. j/k

Anyways, back to the topic. She thinks women respond more to charming guys who tell them what they want to hear rather than sincere, loyal men who show their devotion through actions.

    What do you think?

depends on what the woman needs. some people can do the actions but need a sweetalker. others dont buy words and need actions. its not a gender thing i think. just personalities. i recall there was a test here a while ago to test what types of love does a person need more. sme want gifts, quality time, sweet talk, physical contact.. and so on.

    These were my results:

    The Five Love Languages
Your primary love language is probably
    Quality Time
with a secondary love language being
    Words of Affirmation.

    Complete set of results
    Quality Time: 9
    Words of Affirmation: 7
    Physical Touch: 6
    Acts of Service: 5
    Receiving Gifts: 3

But i am not sure of their authenticity seeing as to how i sometimes need space.

Depends on their love language and mbti rather than their gender.

I try to let my actions reaffirm the words I say.
