But in general I tend not too beat myself up about it. I prefer to focus on being rather than on doing. It doesn't really matter what I do as long as I'm myself and as long as what I do doesn't go against my values. |

I've tried going back to university twice now to find something that's a little more career applicable then my first degree. But each time I lose my motivation for school after a year or so and end up withdrawing, only to be back in the same place. I'm actually supposed to write an abnormal psych test in 2 hours which I'm going to fail because I just didn't have any motivation to study for it. I think I'm going to try to get a decent job on campus, maybe in a library if possible, and then maybe just do courses part time. |

I've always had work of some kind, but I've never been able to mentally settle on a career path. I don't enjoy the thought of being locked in to a certain line of work for the rest of my life. It makes me feel constrained, trapped. I really want to find work that I thoroughly enjoy, something that in itself is worth living for, and is something that is also important for the world, something that benefits other people in a profound way. It's a really difficult task in fact.
I've begun to accept the possibility that I will never have a single career path, and that I may just drift from one interest to another. That idea allures me because it's very dynamic and interesting. Perhaps that's folly and foolishness, though. I suppose it's worth a try. |

I take classes I like in college and have a major just to feel some kind of 'direction', and dont get me wrong, theyre great classes and I love the majors but I have no idea what I'm gonna do with it or what I'll do after I graduate. Probably one of my biggest flaws, I can be very indecisive. |

I'm wrapping up my sophomore year in college, and I'm still undeclared. I just can't find something that I really want to do for the rest of my life. |
