People in general think I look older than I am and am more mature for my age than most. I like to agree, though I do let out my immaturity when it's appropriate and won't cause any damage to anyone else. People seem to think that I am in my early twenties when I actually haven't reached 20 yet.

I am ageless, I am an elf

seriously, I've always had a strange relationship with my age. As a child and still today I seem to be a mixture of old and wise and young and full of wonder. I like this combination, I think it's the best way to be. I've never really felt like my physical age at any time of my life. I can hardly even remember how old I am because I don't bother to think about it. I do remember thinking to myself on my 17th birthday "okay I think I'll just stop here," though at the time I wasn't a typical 17-year-old. The number feels strangely right though, something which I particularly can't explain since I have somewhat of an aversion to odd numbers.

I generally look younger than I am, but have been told I have 'wisdom beyond my years' so I don't know what other people might decide my age was if they didn't know.

I think I was born old and I think I'm going to die young.

I remember I took on a whole forum, eventually was banned, I felt the admin wasn't paying attention to the forum and thought it could be run much better... But during my arguments with MANY in one particular thread..... lol..... I remember one female INTP poster saying "what, are you twelve years old??!!"

...I was in my late 40s at the time.

I also look younger than I am. Both my mother and I have the *young gene*. I worked with someone 15 years ago and she saw me recently and told me.. "you never age, you look just the same."

If I'm part elf, so be it.

I am 29 and I feel... 29. My life decisions have made it such that I don't have a lot in common with most 29 year olds (no kids, no life partner, no mortgage, no savings, kind of an eternal student), so I sometimes have more in common with people who are a bit younger, like in their early 20s, but I also have a handful of friends who are considerably older too. I seem to be able to relate best to people who do not have children rather than a particular age group. I used to feel older than my years when I was a child and a teen but now I just feel as though I have the cumulative life experience of a 29 year old. I am keenly aware that there is a lot I don't know, but I still have a fair amount of experience under my belt.

I'm 21, but I feel 40 at least. And it shows in my social interactions. I have absolutely nothing in common with most others my age, especially when it comes to values & outlook on life. I share those far more often with people 10 + years my senior.

I am 17 and I feel I've had the maturity of someone between 22 and 29 years of age since last September, at least as for my thinking process, but I'm proud of my relationship with my inner child. When I was 16, though, I acted like a 11 years old kid... and when I was 11, like a 5 years old child.

Depends. I've been told that I am more mature, possibly due to my "serious-thinking". I tend to consider things more than others, and to go into deeper thoughts. However, I still have this youthfulness, probably with how I still live in my own dream world. I can switch between both. Although probably to outsiders who barely know me, they may see me as being younger than I really am.

I would probably be 16 or 17. People think I'm in high school and I get carded everywhere. I have the maturity of a 16 year old too.

I am 14, though in every way I feel or have been told I am older. Physically most of my friends I've spoken to seem to agree that I look between 15-16 years old - although when someone said I looked 16, one of my friends went to say to me "As if he would get the shag," which made me both laugh and cringe. According to my online friends I sound a lot older than my age, I think I have a fiarly deep voice, which makes me sound like 17-18ish.

Mentally I think, and I've been told, I'm a lot more mature than the average 14 year old (anyone got any thoughts for how old I appear, all are welcome). At this point, I find what people online think how old I am before I tell them my age very interesting, as it details how old I act roughly and what people generally expect of said age they predict. Most people tend to think I'm between 18-21 years, though i remember one time used their intunition to guess that I was 26. Which kinda scared me.

I think to a few people I appear very day dreamy and dopey, which gives the illusion which I'm not as smart as it's fair to say and that I'm generally more juvenile and I act younger.
