-- excluding food and beer, of course --

Two tickets to the Taking Back Sunday's upcoming tour for the 10th anniversary of their album Tell All Your Friends. The second ticket is for nobody in particular. I couldn't be more stoked.

Grocery shopping is pretty much one of my favorite activities and yesterday I got some great produce (bell pepper, zucchini, tomatoes, garlic, etc) for a pasta dish I'm planning to make. I also couldn't resist picking up a bottle of wine and this new chocolate-coconut peanut butter I hadn't seen before. Note: the peanut butter was kinda disappointing. I wanted it to taste like chocolate coconut nutella, I guess, and it just tasted like peanut butter. Surprise, surprise.

Other than food, I bought a sleeping bag for my upcoming trip to the redwood forest!

    I buy food usually.
Today, I bought a steak (which is now marinating), portabella mushrooms and utz kettle classics Dark Russets chips.
Yesterday I bought two books from the thrift store, Lolita In Tehran by Azar Nafisi, and Bleak House by Charles Dickens.

Basically, all you do is share a recent purchase.
Maybe eventually we will see a pattern.

    Anyway, I'll go first.

Today I went to Milton Keynes for the day, and I bought some Blu Rays from HMV.
(There is an offer on. 3 for £20 or 5 for £30!)

I got 5 blu rays, but 1 of those was for someone else. So what did I get?

    Attachment 45700
    Time Bandits

    Attachment 45701
    Brazil

    Attachment 45702
    The Rocky Horror Picture Show
    Attachment 45703
Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb

    See a pattern yet? ;p
Time Bandits is great. Loved that movie! It didn't get near enough recognition. Brazil was interesting & good fun. Rocky Horror Picture Show; I didn't completely get it until I saw it at the theater. Everyone in costumes, yelling out the lines, throwing things at the screen, so cool. It played at midnight every Friday at my local theater for years. Same crowd every week. I still haven't seen Dr. Strangelove, strangely enough. Someday..... Anyway, my latest purchase (aside from food) was the CD from Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros & some Snailart from Snail (thank you @snail!)
