I use te when necessary, but when doing so i don't wholly take on a te doms perspective. I'm aware of holding off feeling judgements while i do what i need to do. It drains my energy doing this and i can't keep it up long term. Fi comes naturally, i hardly notice any expelling of energy and i don't need to hold off te judgements to use it. My inferior is not anywhere near as developed as my dominant. It supposedly not going to be until i'm 40-50 years old.

Unless, i kill my brain cells off early?
lol! I've read that Te can kick in any time soon...You're gonna make it.

But I think that infp is a very awesome type, even if I was an infp for such a short time.
That's the thing. "Sensors" do have iNtuition and it's not like they don't have creativity nor imagination. If they didn't they would perhaps not be human or something. I hate this bias that's mainly inspired by stereotypical description. -.-

My father, for example, is ESTJ, and I consider him the funniest person I've ever met! He uses a lot of Ne when he makes jokes. His humor can be witty, subtle, and dry. Other times it's goofy and ridiculous!

I wanted to say something, but I'd better do that in the double entendre thread, because I don't want to mess with @eyenexepee 's sticky thread...

Actually you can be. Take myself for example, I took a cognitive test and discovered that my Dominant function is Ne, my Auxiliary Function is Fe, my Tertiary Function is Ti, and my Inferior Function is Si. Now these are the same functions that you'd find in an ENTP, however not in that order. Not everyone will match up 100% to a personality type. The Myers Briggs is one interpretation, while what I just showed you follows more of Jung's original ideas of how to analyze someone. So the reason why I thought I was an INFP was because I got INFJ and ENFP a lot whenever I would take the tests, disregarding the functional aspect of the test and figured that I was more of a perceiver than a judger (I'm not very organized and I think of multiple possibilities), hence why I thought I was a XNFP. And I assumed I was an INFP because I kept getting INFJ or ENFP and felt that maybe I am a combination of the two and decided I was an INFP based on that. However the truth is is that my main function is Ne not Fi. If you go onto SimilarMinds.com and take their cognitive functions test, they'll show you your test results and tell you your personality type is probably more like this: XXXX (They stated my personality type was more like ENFP). So if your dominate function is Fi and your auxiliary is Ne, then you are most likely an INFP. But if it's something different (such as Ne like myself) then most likely you are another personality type.

Actually i have heard on this very forum one case like yours. I remember the thread, it was months ago but i do remember.
The guy was typing himself and i think i was in discussion cuz he sent me a private message that after all he seems to be an ENFP. It was also a case of Ne with Fe. And i asked him does he correlates with Fe for real and he said that he does for sure. But yeah - case like yours.

I agree with your first statement that testing with almost equal T and F is an indicator of being a dominant perceiver type, it makes logical sense.

A dom F has a inferior T and vice-versa, so if someone is testing equal strength in preferences for thinking and feeling they are either a dom S/N, are underdeveloped in both functions or they are misinterpretating the questions.

Possibly it could happen if a person is middle aged and have developed their inferior, but still is unlikely because the dominant function is still directing the ego.

Why or how is it even related to enneagram?
I read once an article "P/J screw ups" which gave me a pretty good idea of how to help yourself to type yourself. It was also about test results and board lines like this.
I personally have almost equal T and F results. I sometimes turn out to be INTP cuz of that. And i kinda don't see Fi as my dominant function but i do see myself in INFP personality type...confusing to be honest...

So yea I am glad to say I am a def INFP, had no doubt in the first place since I've tried like millions of different tests and they all pointed toward the same thing, especially having a strong Fi and a super weak Te :| and apparently being really rare with having an Enneagram 5 on top of being INFP so someone once told me XD
