I cringe when the phone rings! I have never enjoyed talking on the phone, not even as a teenager!
It's not that I hate people,I'm just not a call up a friend just to chat kind of girl.
Fellow INFPs, how do you feel? Do you feel like your friends get upset because you "never call"? Are people after you for being "anti-social"? Comments?

I'm guilty of letting most of my calls go to voicemail especially if I don't know who's calling

It seems to be a common INFP problem... I do the same. I almost never answer the landline and my mobile phone is always buried in my bag and on silent.
My friends and family don't really care, I think they got used to it by now, since I've always been like that. I just get the usual jokes from time to time at family gatherings... *cringe*

I've trained myself to go answer the phone immediately but when it's someone trying to sell something I get really nervous
My family find it easy to say no and put the phone down.

Yep. My mobile is usually on silent, and I absolutely despise the home phone.

i answer my mobile if its somoene i know (if i don't pretty much never answer), if it was just my decision the landline phone would be unplugged.

I'm happy txting people though, and usually answer those almost immidiatly

I hate answering the phone. Especially if I don't know who it is. But since I'm working I always need to answer it in case something happens. I also hate when people tell me to call other people ("Call Nancy and tell her we're going to be late." "Call the restaurant and order our food." etc.). It's almost like a phobia. I avoid talking on the phone as much as possible.
