Are animals, or non-human animals if you prefer, capable of using intuition or simply their five senses?

My intuition tells me it's time to turn this boat around.Or is it my senses?
If animals didn't have intuition then how would cats and dogs manage to travel thousands of miles to find their owners when they have gotten lost in a move or for some other reason?

Hm....no. Not possible. Any kind of trail left behind by their owners would get worm away over time by rain, human intervention, becoming old, being over powered by other scents.
Now why don't you offer up your own reasonings on the matter of why you do and don't think they have intuition?

I haven't formulated an opinion yet.

Do you believe that intuition is more developed in humans than in "other" animals?

One of my cats always seemed to know when I was going to get home from school and he'd be watching out the window for me then run to the door when I came in. Therefore I support animal intuition since animals don't know the concept of time as we know it.
