This is a discussion on INFPs and double entendres within the INFP Forum - The Idealists forums, part of the NF's Temperament Forum- The Dreamers category; Shakespeare did it, Chaucer did it, I can't help but do it and I've come across a couple of INFPs ...

    INFPs and double entendres

Shakespeare did it, Chaucer did it, I can't help but do it and I've come across a couple of INFPs on here that also don't seem to miss a double entendre. Mentioning no names (@mimesis) of course

I'm sure there must be more INFPs than this, that can't stop their minds slipping onto the muddiest track.

Soo, if you usually find yourself snickering at phrases such as "Just come in the back door " and "INFPs like it deep" then please post so I know who you are, then I can add you as a friend and feel less weird

Most of the time I dislike them because they seem so immature...I wish people would grow up sometimes.

My friend and I crammed for our finals today. I mean, he seriously drilled me with questions all day long. I had to beg him to stop.. It took him ages to finish. Then I go home and I had this horrible headache, I felt this incessant pounding in my head. It totally blew. What sucks even more, is that I have two finals on Monday so I'm gonna bone up on my biology tonight.

I didn't even make those jokes when I was 13...I think. I dunno, maybe. It doesn't mean I don't find it funny, but a lot of the times they're not very intelligent.

I never thought I would catch myself saying this in a sentence, but, I agree with the Patriots on this one! Ahem.

Perhaps I should clarify: I think that it can be awesome if deftly executed given the right context, but I'm very oblivious to it myself and seem to have a talent for setting myself up. As such I find it very frustrating when I'm trying to talk about or explain something and people start snickering around me for no immediately apparent reason...
