    What stresses you out, and how to relax after?

    For me, it's my job. (Only two more weeks...)

    I come home from work exhausted and in a terrible mood. I'm on my feet, running around, from when I clock on to when I clock off, and it's anywhere from 5 hours to 12 hours. Just being there stresses me out.



    I have trouble relaxing afterwards. My current method is to lock myself in my room and listen to relaxing music. Any other ideas?

    (Edit: The only other thing that helps is Ni-ing; imagining myself in the future, in a different situation...)

    When I'm stressed, I find that rather trying to calm down, its better to release the tension by expressing my frustration or by doing something very physical. Going for a run, yelling into a pillow, dancing to loud and obnoxious music, or talking to myself aloud about why I'm so irritated/stressed/angry always help put everything into perspective. It's easy to forget that these things help me, and sometimes I do forget, or am too exhausted to even try making myself feel better, however they always do.

    School causes me stress because I feel pressured to complete an assignment as soon as I get it. Which is kind of impossible haha!

    One way I relax is reading a good book while taking a bubble bath. (cliche but it really helps!)

    Playing videogames, watching a movie, surfing the internet, taking a walk outside, and playing with a pet (I have a dog :D ) help me relax too.

    I usually just need time to myself in order to relax and I try to not sweat the small stuff (and fail).

    Do whatever makes you happy and I hope that the situation with your job gets better. I work in retail and it absolutely drains me. So when I get off work, I like to do one of the things I mentioned above.
