What are some fictional characters you know that you think are INFJ??

I know Amelie is for sure, as is discussed in another thread I started and most sources say she is.

Another that comes to mind is Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I know she is definitely an INFX at least. If there's any disney princess I'd relate myself to it would be her.

I just started watching the Rurouni Kenshin the other day. <3 And I have to agree with you.

I see Sokka as an ESFP or ESTP.
Aang acts like an ENFP with each individual function, but it doesn't seem to match up with the description. So maybe INFP? I don't know, I'm terrible at typing.
Katara is an ExxJ for sure lol.

I've read that Elizabeth Bennett is an INFJ. The explanation I read made such a convincing case for her being an INFJ that it is now easy for me to see it as well. Someone mentioned that Jane Eyre is an INFJ but I read on some site that she is an INFP (at least in the book which I have not read completely, so I can't say for sure).

I have a strong feeling Mr. Darcy is an INFJ, he is more introverted than her, feels uneasy talking to strangers and draws conclusions from observing, he is misunderstood, a loyal friend, he helps, when help is needed, he has a strong sense of values and is very protective (think of his relationship to his sister). Lizzie I just can't categorise. I've got no idea if she's introverted or extroverted. She seems to be both. They ARE quite similar in terms of character ... but both of them INFJs? I don't know...
What about Aragorn and Arwen? Aragorn is considered an INFJ, is Arwen one, too? I think they too have very similar personalities.
How about Harry Haller, the Steppenwolf, from the book of the same name ? And Hermann Hesse himself, for that matter? Thoughts?
I've got a strong feeling Hermann Hesse was an INFJ, it's just a feeling I get when reading his poetry. Anyway, he's not a fictional person^^

Kol Skywalker is probably an INFJ in my opinion.

When his ambitious wife, Morrigan Corde, chooses to leave him and their young son to return to the empire to pursue her career, Kol accepts and supports her decision. He understands her and her drive. Even though she leaves him, he doesn't blame her and still loves her. Knowing that deep down she would miss her son, he even suggested that she take one last look before she left.

Skywalker: "Morrigan, I'm a Jedi—I can feel your emotions. You're torn between going and staying. Why not stay with me—and our son?"
Corde: "And do what?! Go with you to Ossus?! Be Cade's mommy?! Do you think the other Jedi would let me raise Cade?! He's a Skywalker! Heir to a great name—and he'll be just as trapped by it as you are, Kol! Kol, look—our meeting was an accident. I regret nothing of our time together, especially not Cade. But we have different paths to follow. Mine lies with the Empire. And Cade is better off going with you to Ossus."
Skywalker: "Cade's asleep. Do you want to say good-bye to him before you leave?"
Corde: "If I looked at him, I couldn't leave. Good-bye, Kol."
―Kol Skywalker and Morrigan Corde

I know the films show him as very action oriented, cold and logical but when you read the books i get the feeling that the Arthur Conan Doyle character Sherlock Holmes shows some strong traits of being an INFJ the stories seem to indicate that he has strong emotional feelings but is skilled at keeping them hidden. He is also both reserved and extroverted, he has amazing intuition that goes beyond logical calculations and is very committed to his friend Watson.

He was INTJ, He cared very little for the victims of the crimes, and he was all about the thrill of solving them. His only real friend was Watson an ISTJ in my opinion anyway.

Sherlock was a dark character, his emotions were strong because he was a little autistic, and not fully in control of them he had amazing abilities normally associated with high functioning autism. It wasn’t ever said directly in the original books because at the time such people were considered mental and put into institutions. I did a big character assessment of him at school and the character evidence suggests that his skills were a kin to a very high functioning autistic, probably aspersers. He was obsessive full of facts, and easily bored. I revisited the character of Sherlock after I discovered MBTi to suss him out again.
Although I don't think he is an INFJ he is easily a great character representation of Ni in a practical application.
Able see things not directly there, think round corners, jump to conclusion correctly and quickly and understand the complex.

I would love to claim Sherlock for the INFJ but I would have to give that genius to its rightful folk the INTJ

I wanna say Prince Ashitaka from Princess Mononoke. But help me out on that one. He seems to be a combination of INTP and INFJ but when with another NT (Lady Eboshi-ENTJ???) or an ST (Jigo-ISTP???) he's clearly the one thinking with his heart. I shall list his traits...
1)he clearly falls hard in love with San.
2)he expresses tranquil and righteous fury (this is more attributed to mature persons of many types rather than just an INFJ, but he's very righteous about it )
3)he's a fighter and a peacekeeper at the same time.
4) he's mocked at least once for having somewhat naive and idealist ideals (e.g why can't the forests and the humans live in peace???!!!)
5)everyone underestimates him at first but then loves him in the end and he's gone before they can say thank you. He and San end up saving the world.

Total INFJ - my ssiter watched the film with me and said he was just like me

I think a lot of Haruki Murakami characters are INFJs: really watching people and events, but stepping in when it means something to them. Most noticably, the guy from The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, I think.
All except the guy from The Wild Sheep Chase and Dance, Dance, Dance - he's an ENTP, I swear!

King Arthur in "Excalibur".

After wasting away from dwelling on betrayal and sin, Arthur gains the realization of truth and acceptance, and is able to live again. He is ready to face his demon, and lead his men against hopeless odds for the hope of a better world:

Otonashi from Angel Beats!?

i believe Isaac from the Golden Sun Series is INFJ, Although you dont learn much about him the first two games in Dark Dawn he screams INFJ. Very insightful always seems to be a few steps ahead. Knows the right course of action. (i have only played 3 hours but it was very obvious) I forget What Garrett said exactly but it was something about Isaac seems to get lost in his mind for a bit and normally knows the best course of action for them after that.

I believe the Protagonist from Persona 4 is INFJ i mean who else can wield infinite persona other then INFJ so naturally lol (yes i typed a silent character) of course there are other reason but i am busy.

Cassie from E4 Skins tv show.. albeit a very unhealthy one.

...very interesting because she has a lot of problems, and she's very troubled, and she's anorexic and completely lacking in self-esteem and self-belief, but along with that she's sort of quite smart. I think that she has quite a good reading on a lot of the other characters about what they're like and how they work and stuff, and I think she's a very clever girl, and she's also kind of silly and dreamy and quite fun at the same time as being a very tragic character.

I think INTJs are much less conflicted and less emotionally excitable. Better INTJ character are Voldemort, Dexter, Hannibal Lecter and Magneto. They place little value on ethics/morality and more on logic. Sephiroth seems to just want to revenge for being treated as a tool by humanity; his end goal is to destroy all humanity so that he can be made a god. Well that seems a bit excessive... I would imagine that an INTJ would find a way to threaten humanity into subordination, thereby, making himself/herself the world leader without the senseless destruction. This would satisfy his/her God complex and allow society to continue being a tool for those on top of the food chain.

I am glad you are having fun! That is what is all about =)
I think I am going to enjoy the one winged angel symphony now.

You are so articulate! how do you do it?
I think that sephiroth was focusing on logic in a way... his way was a bit excessive... but could it just be the anality of a judger?
But could you, as an INFJ, ever see yourself doing that even when disillusioned?
the whole idea is so alien to me. It would have to be "for the good of humanity" in some way... like I could see Seymore from FFX being an INFJ...

Thank you, I become enamored with the English language when I immigrated to the US. Now days I read the dictionary for fun; it keeps my Ni organized and sane, which is a new development...
Yes, there were times, mostly in HS, where I experienced the darkness that Sephiroth radiates. I could visualize myself running rampage, massacring people arbitrarily. It’s not a nice thing to say, but it is true and the only thing that appeased me through this times was gruesome metal music and my perverted imagination, which colored the songs with gory and gruesome imagery. I guess this was my Se demon lashing out in the absence of his Fe superior. Of course, in practice I am mostly harmless; I only unleash this beast, that I now "tamed" onto others when I need to fight, which happens very rarely since I have become adroit at defusing situations before they get tense.
Lol I don't think that we can agree on the Sephiroth debate, I can see we are both very adamant abou our positions. Not that we should agree, reality is all relative and he might be an INTJ by your standards. He is a fictional character anyways, it is not like we can call him to the forum and make him take the test and go through the phase of self discovery Hahahaha He would probably slice us to pieces with his katana before that! Personally, I like to view him as an INFJ because it adds more complexity to his character; I like complexity.
I really don’t know what to say about that last line... Thanks?

Yeah i guess I think of sephiroth as more selfish, not the emo/ self preserving selfighness of an INFJ but the Ego centric selfishness of an INTJ.
(A god...? really? lol)

He is still a complex character nonetheless. I think strictly by the game he is INTJ but maybe with the other stuff... he is an INFJ or MAYBE HIS WEIRD CLONE IS INTJ AND THE REAL SEPHIROTH IS INFJ!

there was a clone right?!?!?
i think i've figured it out...

Really? I always thought he was an INTJ/P. He doesn't seem to be very emotional UNLESS it's something that involves River. He can also be a bit cold, unless of course it involved River . Even in his budding romance with Kaylee, she'd get mad at him and he's like 'what did i do?" Idk I still love him IMMENSELY. I think Book is the INFJ in Firefly.

I think of Book as more an ENFJ, but either one would do well for him.

And yes, as for my adorable Simon, I think he is a bit too withdrawn and selective in his empathy and interest in others to be an INFJ. I'd say he is an INTP.

hmmmm.... could be, I was just thinking of his super-protectiveness and self-sacrificing around River. But considering his relationship with Kaylee and apparent lack of instincts... idk

I was going to bring Book up next. I couldn't decide whether he was an INFJ or an ENFJ. I don't think we really get enough screen time on him to tell.

Has anyone (a little more doubtful) seen The Listener? It is a Canadian TV show that ran in both Canada and the states in 2009, and will return this spring. I think that the main character might be an INFJ. He is caring, empathetic, protective, has only a few close friends, and can read people's minds....
