I WANNA SEE COWBOYS AND ALIENS SO BADLY! I watched a love story called adam that I think everyone should watch! The main character has asperger's syndrome and his brand of love is an extremely awkward one =)
Loved Across the Universe. Thank god for netflix, that's all I can say. Saw the film Ink recently and it mesmerized me, although I'm not quite sure I got it. If anyone has seen it, I'd appreciate an interpretation. Another of my all time weirdo/indie faves is Northfork. Also, anything by the Coen Bros. I can be quite happy sitting home on a Fri. night watching a late 30's, early40's B&W. If Ingrid Bergman is in it, all the better. As for contemporary actors, Paul Giamatta is superb me thinks. I hate a movie where I feel like I'm being emotionally manipulated. If the content itself is not compelling enough, then everything else is garbage, although a great soundtrack can sometimes save the day.
Careful man, Cowboys and Aliens wasn't too great imho, but you might like it. What I did like about it was Harrison Ford, man alive, he was hilarious. :P
Well I recently watched "The Game Plan" with "The Rock". >< lol, see I bought it years ago thinking it might be funny, which it could have been if done right, but it's Disney, a kids show, a show about learning lessons, and I'm pretty sure made by an Extrovert so yeah lol, not good. :P At any rate, the next one I have to watch is "Elizabeth" on blu-ray. :P Me and my brother have been picking all the movies I own randomly from a hat so that's why the Game Plan this last weekend :P
Hannah was so good, and Limitless
Just finished watching The Way starring Martin Sheen as a father who has recently lost his son. Is set in northern Spain, the walk to Santiago de Compostela. An hour in I felt "this film isn't really working" but second half was better. Story reflects on loss, family, friendships, our search for meaning....
A good film, not great. Currently scores 7.3/10 on IMDB

I recently watched the interview / film documentary with Tedd Bundy. It was released a long time ago, but it is a film I watched again from start to finish. I have always been fascinated with the extreme deadly measures humans will take to satisfy their darkest desires.
